Ski Chalet at Haven Rooftop

Last night, The Sanctuary Hotel's Haven Rooftop debuted its new winter Ski Chalet. Instead of hitting the slopes in Vail and Aspen, stay put in NYC for a great (and less expensive) alternative. Waitresses donned sexy ski bunny outfits while serving Russian Standard Vodka on a shot ski. Other winter-themed cocktails were served, such as the Ultimate Irish Coffee and Candy Cane Martini. The rooftop was decked out with winter-worthy decor, complete with snow but without the chill. Haven Rooftop's Snowed In Thursday party will debut tonight, with top DJs spinning nightly Wed-Sat nights. Get the snowy reprieve from city life without the chasing it with the flu.

The Refined Gentleman

When Seun Olubodun used his dog, Duke, as inspiration for his fashion line, he had no idea it would become such a success. Duke & Winston, the company that offers east coast-inspired garments, is named after a bulldog and Winston Churchill...so obviously it can do no wrong.

The fashion line was created in 2009 and was solely focused on menswear. The goal was to create casual duds for the modern gentleman - sorry, Ed Hardy fans, that discludes you. The graphic tees in the collection sported Duke's mean mug and was an instant hit, and we can sure see why. Now the line has expanded to include both womenswear and clothing for pets (check out the perfect stocking stuffer for the pet lover here). Seun states of his most recent collection - his Fall 2012 Boathouse Row series - that he was "inspired to put together a fall line that is a little more refined than my more graphic line of t-shirts. It focuses more on subtle graphics and embroideries, and makes a perfect transition from summer to fall.”

Why We Love Exclusiv Vodka

Exclusiv Vodka launched in 2001, but has only emerged in the US in the past few years. The small vodka company based out of Moldova, a small country that neighbors the creator, Serge Chistov's, Ukranian home. The vodka is produced using only the best winter wheat, resulting in a natural sweetness and uses naturally filtrated water from Central Europe. Now that we've got a taste of this vodka, we want to share with you why it's so good!

It's Cheap. Let's face it, the economy is still struggling and with it, our bank accounts. So at a jaw-dropping price of $9.99 a bottle (no, we aren't joking), it's hard not to swipe up a bottle or five. Talk about bang for your buck!
