Cuccioli Headlining Special Performance of Jacques Brel Returns

Jacques Brel Returns is hosting a special one night only performance with Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables) on January 28th at 7pm. The performance will be held at The Triad and tickets are priced at $30 general admission or $40 for premium seating. Joining Cuccioli in the performance are other big names such as Tamra Hayden, Arlo Hill, Rick Hip-Flores, and Ereni Sevasti.

The Newly Revamped Polish Bar Warsaw

You may know the Greenpoint hotspot Warsaw as the Polish National Home, but recently the bar has shaken things up! Swedes, Americans, Spaniards, and all nationalities are welcome to come party at this place. The bar has brought in new beers, liquors and DJs, who will be playing a wide variety of music every night. Shoot some pool (for free!) and take advantage of their nightly drink specials. This newly revamped digs are known for their amazing international bands, but now they are showcasing NYC's very own local talent. Oh, and did we mention you can snack on Polish faves like pierogies?

Two Hot Ethnic Spots to Check Out During Restaurant Week

Executive Chef Anthony Ricco of Meatpacking's delectable Spice Market is preparing quite the feast for hungry participants in this year's Restaurant Week. Prix fixe menus are available for both your three-course lunch ($24.07) and dinner ($35) and are quite the deal! Some tasty offerings include chicken skewers with lime dipping sauce, butternut squash soup, chili-garlic egg noodles, pineapple upside down cake, and much more.

Moving on from Southeast Asian specialties to Portuguese delights, Alfama will also be serving up lunch and dinner menus for your to enjoy. Try delicacies such as Portuguese sausage, grilled skirt steak, traditional Portuguese dessert Sericaia com Molho de Baunilha, and that's just a small sampling of what they have to offer.

January Comedy at Union Hall

Union Hall is packing in the laughs in January with regular comedy shows for you to enjoy with your pals. Just because the holidays are over is no reason to go into depression...these great shows are a sure fire way to get your spirits up and your weight down (haven't you heard laughter burns calories?).

January 7th, 8pm.

Comedian Greg Barris will be hosting Heart of Darkness, a 6-piece bandmusician will back each comedian, to give their act a little oomf. $8 tickets are available here.

Shoppers better beware on Saturday December 17th at 2pm if they are in Washington Square Park. For those caught unaware, prepare for a show as spontaneous dance breaks out in the park. NYC Dance Arts is having a flash mob so make sure you don't miss it! You all might remember Modern Family's Mitchell breaking it down for Cam during a flash mob...so if you don't understand the concept check out the video below. New York Cruise Lines is offering a night to remember aboard Duchess World Yacht to ring in 2012. From 6-9pm, the wine store will be having a free tasting of over two dozen wines, along with cheese and charcuteries. 10% of proceeds from all purchases will support The Harmony Program, a non-profit organization that provides musical education for economically disadvantaged youth around the city.
