Forever 21's new Festival 2013 Capsule Collection is in stores today and features recording artist Sky Ferreira. The new collection is perfect for Coachella-goers, with plenty of dip-dye denim, studded embellishments, crochet, and crop-tops. The collection includes 85 pieces, ranging anywhere from $4.80 to $39.80, so for those who can't afford the upper-echelon of festival wear, this line is for you! We are totally digging the easy bohemian vibe of this collection and it's unlike other collections Forever 21 has put out in the past. With bold colors, lace details, and plenty of edge, our favorite affordable clothing store has really impressed us with this collection.

Earlier this week, Joonbug celebrated noted mixmaster DJ Hesta Prynn's birthday at Gold Bar. The night had an epic turn out, with a surprise performance by Vinny Cha$e, who was just signed by LA Reid to EPIC Records, as well as a guest performance by Pittsburgh Slim. ANTM alum and co-owner of The Dalloway, Kim Stolz also made an appearance.
A charity initiative brought to you by Gaz (Gary) Regan, Just One Shift, has an amazing (and fun) plan to raise $250,000 in a week long fundraising campaign by inviting bartenders worldwide to donate all or part of their tips from just one shift (Get it?). Fittingly, the funds raised will benefit Wine to Water, a non-profit founded by a bartender, that focuses on providing clean water to needy people worldwide. Since World Water Day is coming up on March 26th, it is the perfect time to get aboard the clean water wagon.

Früzen Ice is the "21st century antidote to drinking boredom." Their ice is the coolest (both literally and figuratively) thing to happen to drinks since we discovered alcohol. The company is the first and only manufacturer and distributor of crystal clear ice containing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and candies within. The ice is used to refresh both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a unique visual display and enhancing the flavor of the drink, without additives once the ice melts.
For those of you New Yorkers who are all about the downtown nightlife scene, it might be time to rethink your location. The Upper West Side welcomed the French bistro and lounge, Cafe Tallulah, in January and it is one spot you need to check out. The main floor is comprised of a fine dining area and the UWS's longest bar made of zinc, which plays homage to old Penn Station. Additionally, during the summer the windowed walls open up to create outside sidewalk seating.
After sufficiently stuffing your belly, head to the sophisticated lounge downstairs, which is open Thursday through Saturday from 8pm-2am. Award winning mixologist, Dushan Zaric, of Employees Only and Macao Trading Company, created the the innovative cocktail menu, while Tom Gannon serves as the wine director for the venue. Between the pair, you can sip on the drink of your dreams whether you're at the bar upstairs, pairing libations with your dinner, or downstairs in the lounge. The lounge can be best described as cosmopolitan, with vintage seating, exposed brick, and even a pool table.
Now that you're donned in the appropriate sports attire, it's time to hunker down and watch the highly anticipated March Madness games. View the basketball games in style at posh sports lounge The 40/40 Club, get in on the action at Brookfield Place, or head to local watering hole Brother Jimmy's for some basketball madness.
Jay-Z's The 40/40 Club always pulls out the big stops for sports enthusiasts, with over 30 flat screen TVs and luxe stadium seating. This upscale sports lounge is where to go if you're super serious about watching some b-ball. The club is offering multiple tournaments packages, starting with their 4 person package ($250+ ) which includes chips, salsa and guacamole, two buckets of beer, and two platters of food. To learn about bigger packages, or make a reservation, please call 212-832-4040.
A staple of Gramercy's dining scene, Parea Bistro, recently re-branded and now presents Parea Prime, a fusion of Greek cuisine and traditional steakhouse. The first of its kind, the restaurant features a sophisticated Mediterranean dining experience, as well as the conventions of an American steakhouse. General manager Jean Christophe Villard says, "I wanted to create a unique restaurant concept, to provide fine diners with meat and more exciting European items." And that he did.
The menu features hand-selected USDA Prime Dry Aged steaks and chops from Pat LaFrieda & Sons, each aged at least 28 days in the LaFrieda Himalayan Salt room. In addition to their meats, Parea Prime also offers a fine selection of classic Greek dishes like tender lamb riblets and hearty vegetable moussaka, as well as a raw bar. Joonbug had the opportunity to attend an exclusive tasting at the recently re-branded restaurant and we were happily scarfing down all they had to offer. From the meatballs and the flavorful spanakopita to the expertly selected wine, we enjoyed everything that came across our plate (and glass). The restaurant has an in-house sommelier to help you with any pairings, as well as an expert mixologist ready to serve you cocktails. Additionally, every Friday evening from 8-11pm, the restaurant features live Greek music as the perfect backdrop to your meal.
Parea Prime is located at 36 E. 20th St.
