Gin & Tonics On Tap, On Hold

In the most recent case of, ‘who knew?’ last Monday, the State Liqour Authority requested that Gin Palace turn off its gin and tonic tap due to its illegality.

According to a Prohibition-era law (really?), serving cocktails from one bottle into another is against the law, which is bad news for plenty of other lounges around the city that offer cocktails on tap.

Gin Palace owner, Ravi DeRossi doesn’t think what they were doing was illegal and plans to fight the ruling at a July 20th hearing.

The Firsts Guys On The Block: 121 Fulton Street

Years of construction have plagued the South Street Sea Port neighborhood, but New Yorkers know the best finds are worth navigating through the commotion, isn’t that right New Yorkers?

Since its inception nine months ago, 121 Fulton Street has brought in the Suits and the Denim galloping through the horse carriage streets with its casual atmosphere and upscale decorum.

Guests have their choice of seating at either the bar, intimate tables for two on black leather stools, or a separate dining room. Wednesday evenings the crowd swells for the Eurocup games, the NBA Finals, and whatever your heart desires on their arsenal of televisions throughout the restaurant.

The Original Boozy Brunch is Back: 'Le Brunch' to Debut at Bagatelle

At last, brunch at Bagatelle has returned!

Bagatelle, where the food and champagne are ever flowing, will debut Le Brunch, its unique brand of “Joie de Vivre” this Saturday, June 23rd from 11am to 6pm.

Since settling into the old Collective space at One Little W. 12th Street, owners Remi Laba and Aymeric Clemente have some high energy plans in store to move Le Brunch into a social event rather than a social recovery.

Champagne and rosé will be the life force behind the classic dishes from Executive Chef Romauld Jung’s kitchen to give guests the kick they need as resident DJ Stan Courtois keeps the party livened up 'till sunset.

Kick it at Le Brunch every Saturday and Sunday.
