UMF TV Revisits 'A State Of Trance'

"When am I in a state of Trance? When I listen to a good track, a track that I really like. One that's energetic, euphoric, uplifting," said Armin van Buuren on the latest episode of UMF TV, which brings fans on a special revisit to 'A State Of Trance' at Ultra 2012 with none other than, Armin himself.

The feature focuses heavily on Trance music. The genre has exploded over the years and you can hear how it has grown from Armin, Dash Berlin, Sander van Doorn, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate and Gareth Emery who all played at the arena.

Word has spread that Armin will be joining the festivites again at Ultra 2013 on both weekends but you can catch him first when he plays the show of a lifetime at Pier 36 in NYC on New Year's Eve! For tickets and more information click here.

DO-GOODERS
Swedish House Mafia To Throw Black Tie Rave

There's no bigger force to be reckoned with than Swedish House Mafia. Announcing their final run as a trio with their most extensive outing ever, "One Last Tour," the Swedes have now announced they will be giving back to the victims of Hurricane Sandy and play a show at Hammerstein Ballroom on February 28 before they play New York's Madison Square Garden on March 1 and Barclays Center on March 2-4. Their final shows will be the grand finale as they open Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 15 and close out the festival on March 24...one last time.

But, this isn't your typical rave. Steve Angello, Axwell, and Sebastian Ingrosso are throwing a Black Tie Rave with plans to donate 100% of the proceeds to The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

John Digweed To Release 4 Disc Compilation CD

John Digweed has been in the electronic dance music scene way before it exploded. Having a breakthrough as a DJ at just 15 years old, he has set the mold for many DJs today and continues to set the standards.

Recorded live in the mix at the recent Bedrock Anniversary Party at Fire & Lightbox, London, “Live In London” will be released as four disc compilation CD and will feature nearly 5 hours of amazing music across a bumper 4xCD set. "The Bedrock Anniversary parties in London are always truly special as it feels like coming home to me," he said. "For some reason this party seemed extra special, Fire in Vauxhall is a new venue for us and it has a labyrinth of rooms under the arches which allowed us to feature a line up that most festivals would be happy with! There was definitely a magical vibe in the air when I arrived. I had heard that people had travelled from Russia, America, all over Europe, even New Zealand, to be there. The party was perfect for me, the amazing international crowd created an incredible atmosphere all night long."
