So what that it's Monday?! I like to think of Mondays as a good day. Mainly because my first thought every Monday is that my life may drastically change (in a good way), and that I had an entire weekend to discover new music. With that said, the playlist for this week is dedicated to cover songs! Sure, these songs are already killer in their original form but we've rounded up some seriously talented artists that put a new spin on each song. You'll hear an amazing mix of melodic Dubstep and Trap, RnB, and overall, just straight up good music.
2. Timeflies- Glad You Came
3. The Weeknd- High For This (Ellie Goulding Cover)
4. One Republic- If I Lose Myself (Colin Cover)
While we caught some early Phase 1 lineup chatter, EDM fans now have the official word of what to expect over the weekends of March 15-17 and Match 22-24. Ultra Music Festival 2013 is shaping up to be well, ultra. Jam packed with top notch talent, the 15th anniversary is sure to be one for the books.

The best of the best have already been announced but we can expect more top artists when Phase 2 is announced! Watch the official Phase 1 trailer below and for more information and tickets visit here.
It's always fun to be in on what's new and trending in the beauty world. After all, makeup is a form of art and our face is the canvas! Whether you're dedicated to your favorite Sephora lip gloss, Benefit bronzing power, or Urban Decay eye shadows--we all have our favorite makeup brands. It's also great to venture and explore other brands and that's why we're currently obsessing over Alexa Persico Cosmetics. The line was founded by CEO, Alexa Persico, a 20-year-old makeup artist who has turned the dream of creating her own line into a reality.
Most of us dance music aficionados are used to seeing Zedd behind the booth mixing progressive house beats in front of club goers or thousands of festival goers. Last night, that wasn't the case.
The 24-year-old DJ/producer made his debut appearance on The David Letterman Show, however, not in his typical role as superstar DJ. Zedd sat perched behind a piano as Foxes sang the lyrics to an acoustic version of "Clarity."
A person not familiar with the original track would probably say the performance was good, which it was. But it lacked the fierceness the original electronic version of the song gives off. For now, we'll stick to the original version but props to Zedd for showing his versatility as an artist. Watch the performance below!
The ever innovative, Grammy nominated producer, Diplo is breaking grounds this month and announced "Trap Hawk Down" in which he will be hitting 4 cities to play 4 shows in one day! Starting in Baltimore, off to Philly, Atlantic City, and wrapping up in NYC these parties should get pretty interesting. If you're lucky enough to get to one of these venues, trust that there's no other party like a Diplo party.
The first Electric Beach party of 2013 will be an eventful night as DJ Bambi and MAKJ join forces to co-headline the weekly electronic dance music series at Santos Party House this Saturday, January 5, 2013!
