Despite the buzz about him performing at the Royal wedding on April 29th, the singer is pretty sure that he won't be on the guest list.

Believe it or not, even if he was a close friend of Lady Diana, Sir Elton John doesn't expect any invitation from Prince William and Kate Middletown.

"I think because of my relationship with Princess Diana, people automatically think I'm going to be invited, but since i don't know Prince William well, I would not expect to be invited to the wedding", he told Reuters.

Though he might not be part of the ceremony, the pop star who performed Candle In The Wind at Princess Diana's funeral wishes the best of happiness to the bride and groom: "They seem very happy. I just hope that they have the best day and its sunny and it's a great occasion for them. He's a terrific man, William, and he's going to be a great king."
