Bet you didn't even know they were dating! Or you probably heard about it, but deemed it too unbelievable so you brushed it off as a silly little rumor.

It's true! Actress Amber Tamblyn, 28, and comedian David Cross, 47, are tying the knot, Life & Style magazine has confirmed today. "They've been engaged for weeks," sources claim. At least SOME people in good old Hollywood know how to keep marriage details private. Yes, Kim Kardashian, that was for you.

This marks down to be the second marriage of the  four leading ladies in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. America went first a couple of months ago, now Amber...perhaps Blake Lively would like to be bride number three with A-lister beau Leonardo DiCaprio? 

It's not the big age difference that surprises us about Tamblyn and Cross. Really, we have seen it all (exhibit A). Moreso, the confusion really roots from the seemingly arbitrary chance that their two worlds would come together. The top of my head, the only thing they have in common is having/have had a role in a FOX television show. Fan favorite Arrested Development was when David received the breakout role of Tobias, while Amber returned to television by joining the cast of House M.D last year.

This bizarre news is actually quite reminiscent of the equally strange pairing of Thora Birch & Steve Buscemi in 2001 cult film Ghost World. Except this time, we know it's more than just a drunken hook-up. Hopefully...
