It appears that the popular boy band that tore up our hearts in the 90’s will be reuniting this Sunday at the MTV VMAS. N’ Sync alumni, Justin Timberlake will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard at the award ceremony, and former band mates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are set to join him onstage for a special performance, according to the New York Post.
If all sources are accurate, this will be the band’s first performance together in ten years--90s babies everywhere are thrilled! Previous boy bands of the glorious 90’s era such as the Backstreet Boys and 98 degrees have already reunified this year; it was only a matter of time until N’ Sync hopped on the bandwagon.
We will see if there is truth to all the rumors when the Video Music Awards airs live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center this Sunday night on MTV.
