New Celebrity Beef : Kanye West vs. Jimmy Kimmel
Feel the wrath of Yeezus, Jimmy Kimmel

This week has definitley been the week of  celebrity beefs. Today’s new feud is a rather odd one; it is between rapper/ self proclaimed designer Kanye West, and comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

[Disclaimer : This beef entails leather jogging pants, comedic slander, and incoherent all captialized tweets]

Round one:

It all started when, Jimmy Kimmel decided to do a parody of Kanye West’s passionate interview with BBC Radio 1′s  Zane Lowe by using two kids to recreate the interview, on his late night show.  In the spoof, a kid mocks some of the most outrageous moments from Kanye’s sit-down, while another kid, dressed as Zane Lowe, nonchalantly sips on a milkshake.  The skit was hilarious, but Mr. West didn’t find the parody too funny.

Enraged, Kanye went into true Kanye mode and took to his Twitter account (in ALL CAPS) to blast Jimmy for being a "manipulative media muthaf-cker" :

Round 2 :

Last night Jimmy decided to discuss his newfound beef on air, while admitting to his audience that Mr. West called him before his twitter rant.

“He told me I had two choices: apologize publicly…and that was really the only choice! The other choice he gave was that my life—’Your life,’ he said, ‘is going to be much better if you apologize.”

Kimmel also began reading Kanye’s tweets out loud while giving his response, but he took a huge jab after he read Kanye’s “P-ssy” tweet:

The tweet read, “JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P-SSY IN YOUR LIFE…” and Jimmy responded: ‘I’ve seen the tape, I know!” (In Reference to Kim Kardashian’s infamous sex tape.)

Jimmy ended his monologue by saying that Kanye told him that he is the most powerful voice in media.

“And he told me this on the phone, I swear, he said, ‘I am the most powerful voice in media. I am ‘Pac!’ He said ‘I am ‘Pac’ a few times to me. He said, ‘You’ll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old’s high school football game and be cool again.’ He really is ‘Pac. That’s right ouf of the Tupac playbook, isn’t it… I don’t understand it, I don’t know why he’s angry again. I thought the bit was pretty innocuous. Finally I’m in a rap feud. “

It is all fun and games until you piss Kanye West off.  We hope Kanye doesn’t throw anymore tantrums and realizes it is all in good fun, no malice.
