Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus ended their engagement two months ago but although breakups can often suck big time, they both seem to handling theirs pretty well. Liam has been talking to the press recently as part of promoting his new movie “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. What he has been reporting to the media and the people around him is that despite ending a long term relationship and all the tabloid rumors he is actually doing a lot better then he has in years.
"What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that's all that matters," Liam said to the Associated Press in an interview recently. ''I know I'm a good person and these days I feel like I'm more centered and grounded than I've ever been."
One of the reasons why he is so much more grounded these days is because he has gotten to spend time working with Jennifer Lawrence. She is definitely a factor that has attributed to his new outlook on things. It’s not surprising that being around her has helped him gain some perspective since besides being a talented actress; she is also famous for having a candidly charming manner of speaking to others.
"For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment, but being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier." Liam told the Associated Press. "I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been in my whole life."
Besides having Jennifer as inspiration; he has also gained encouragement from the fact that he has survived from all the hardships that newcomers have to face when they’re first entering the Hollywood world.
"Over the last five years I've learned so much. The first few years in L.A. were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself." Liam added to the Associated Press. There where some past roles that he didn’t get but now that he is in the “The Hunger Games” movie franchise the outlook of his career is looking pretty good.
Miley Cyrus also seems to be pleased with where she is right now in her life. Last month on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” she said the following.
"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig. That's just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."
