Last Sunday, Hollywood lost one of its most compelling actors: Philip Seymour Hoffman. The academy-award winning and nominated talent was found dead in his New York City apartment the morning of Februrary 2nd with a syringe in his arm and 70 baggies of what appeared to be heroin.
However, the released preliminary results of the autopsy were "inconclusive," meaning they did not immediately point to overdose, as seemed most obvious. The medical examiner office will continue to test before an official cause of death will be released.
Hoffman had publicly admitted to having struggles with heroin and drug addiction. After staying sober for nearly 20 years, he had checked into a rehabilitation center last year shortly folowing a relapse.
It was recently revealed that Selena Gomez was in rehab to reportedly get help to move on from her relationship with Justin Bieber. Gomez checked into a 45-day program at a recovery center called The Meadows in January. The program she specifically checked into is called Dawn, which is to help treat drug and alcohol abuse, although her rep stated that she did not enter the program for substance abuse.
Although she entered a 45-day program, Gomez left after two weeks of treatment so she could attend the Sundance Film Festival to promote her upcoming film Rudderless.Gomez reportedly was planning on returning to the recovery center after attending the film festival but decided against it.
Playing two dispirited siblings, former SNL stars, Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader, breathe depth and life to serious roles as they use their comedic talents to navigate the gray waters of depression. Skeleton Twins opens with a shot of the despondent sister and brother, who have been living across country from each other for ten years, attempting suicide in their bathrooms. After brother Milo, a slight masochist and struggling LA actor, fails at his attempt, he comes to live with his sister, Maggie, a dental assistant living in the same small New York town where she grew up in. Maggie’s husband, Lance (Luke Wilson), a good, respectable guy, is ready to start a family; Maggie, however, is less than fulfilled with the relationship. What unfolds on the screen is a belated bonding of the two who, both complex by nature, begin to understand each other as they explore their similarities and venture on similar interests. Along the way, we are able to enjoy much belly laughter as the pair lip sync to the classic '80s Starship record "Mannequin" and when they take nitrous oxide in the dentist office. Eventually, however, trouble arises as resentment that has been building up over the past decade unfolds. Prepare for that which you could never be too prepared for: the unknown pastures of life.

Last November, fans everywhere were devastated when Paul Walker passed away at the age of 40 due to a car crash. Earlier today, a copy of his will revealed that the star left his entire $25 million fortune to his 15-year-old daughter Meadow.
Meadow has been living with her mother Rebecca Soteros in Hawaii ever since Walker's death. However, Paul's father, the named executor, has petitioned the court to appoint Cheryl, Paul's mother, as Meadow's legal guardian as outlined specifically in the will. She would then be custodian of the $25 million until Meadow comes of age.
The court hearing will take place later this month.
