Kelly Clarkson married talent manager Brandon Blackstock in Tennessee on October 20. The couple became engaged in December 2012 when Blackstock proposed to the singer with a ring that included a yellow canary diamond with surrounding white diamonds.
Clarkson tweeted October 21 confirming the news, “I’m officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!” She also shared photos from the wedding on twitter as well.
Although the couple had originally planned to have a big wedding, it ended up being a more intimate affair with just a small group of friends and family in attendance. The singer walked down the aisle in a Temperley Bridal dress from their Iris collection called “Jessamine.”
Congrats to the happy couple!

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have finally made their union official. After being engaged for three years the couple got married yesterday in a Beverley Hills County Clerk office. Originally only headed to the Clerk’s office to get a marriage license, the two decided to spontaneously tie the knot. Not many people got to attend the simple ceremony, but sources can confirm that Kristen did have happy tears in her eyes.
Kristen and Dax have held off on marriage throughout the years for political reasons. Believing in equal rights, the couple has stated that they would not marry until it was legal for all. They are both strongly in favor of gay marriage, and when the US Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 in California this past June, there was nothing holding them back from entering married life. The two also have a daughter together Licoln Bell Shepard, born this past March. We’re sure Lincoln and the rest of their family and friends will be happy to hear the news about their nuptials.
Congratulations to the happy couple.

Elle Magazine has been receiving backlash over its cover featuring Melissa McCarthy. The actress posed for the cover as part of the magazine’s November “Women in Hollywood” issue.
While Reese Witherspoon is shown wearing a tight fitting Versace dress and Shailene Woodley is wearing a swimsuit, McCarthy is wearing a Marina Rinaldi coat that doesn’t show off any of her curves. Penelope Cruz is also featured on a cover with her photo being a close up shot of her face.
The film begins with Solomon already enslaved; we then see a series of flashbacks before settling into a scene of happier moments as the stories begins with Solomon's life and family as free man in New York. No matter how may times one has read or seen a slave narrative, nothing in the world can prepare you for the brutally harsh realities that present themselves in Solomon's story. The tale begins as Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, is tricked, abducted and sold into slavery. Solomon struggles to hang on to both his life and dignity as he is passed from slave owner to slave owner, with no seeming redemption in sight. Twelve years into his tragic story of heroism, Solomon's chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist (Brad Pitt) will forever change the course of his life.

Contestants on the hit reality series “The Voice” may have to battle it out with each other for the winner’s prize, but it’s clear that, despite being on separate teams, judge Christina Aguilera has grown close to her fellow musician judges Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green, and Blake Shelton. During an interview with Queen Latifah, Christina was asked to do an impression off her “Voice” costars. Not only did Christina agree to do the impressions but she also did them quite well.
During her interview, Christina revealed what she thinks about her three costars personalities. She spoke in a friendly manner about how she feels that Adam has a lot of rushed energy, while Blake is more slowed down and relaxed. When it came to Green, Christina said “Cee-Lo is great. Cee-Lo speaks in like poetic rhyme. He is so sultry.” Christina also revealed that doing impressions of each other is something all her costars sometimes do. According to Christina, after working with each other for five seasons, you do get to know each other pretty well and doing impressions of each other just becomes a must.
A new celebrity feud is brewing between singers Lorde and Selena Gomez as Lorde recently dissed Gomez’s song, “Come & Get It,” as being anti-feminist.
Lorde stated in an interview, “I love pop music on a sonic level. But I’m a feminist and the theme of her song [Come & Get It] is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me.’ I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”
Gomez responded to Lorde in a recent interview stating, "I appreciate everybody's opinion, especially because I've covered Lorde's music lots of times. I think she is super talented and I think it's awesome ... But in my opinion it's not feminism if you're tearing down another artist."
