Kate Upton graces the February 2014 cover of V Magaine and dare we say she looks better than ever! Upton, known for her beautifully cuvy figure and gorgeous face, proves that you can be equally as beuatiful and not be a samples size!
The coolest and most interesting feature is, the top cover features Upton in a Nicola Formichetti for Diesel denim bodysuit. However, when the cover is peeled back, she is featured in a barely there, nearly naked ensemble.
Stephen Gan, V's editor and man behind this vision, told Women's Wear Daily, "It has always intrigued me, as I'm sure it has to most readers, how someone gets embraced by the general public for taking their clothes off and loved by the fashion world for keeping them on."
Lady Gaga is one celebrity that is known for fully embracing her quirky side and not caring what others think. Often reffered to as a modern day Madonna, Gaga loves to break the mold of what a typical pop star should be. From her intense style to her artistic music videos and even her meat dress from the VMAS, we all have come to admire Lady Gaga's bold and unique personality.
With over 40 million followers on Twitter, Lady Gaga has turned her account into a place where her fans can come and accept their flaws and awkwardness and escape bullying that a lot of them experience.
Award season is officially here. The 40th annual People's Choice Awards were held last night at LA's Nokia Theatre. 2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs hosted the show. The funny girls kept the show fresh with funny skits and one-liners. They work so well together they could be the next Tina Fey/Amy Poehler combo.
However, the night belonged to the A-List winners. At the People's Choice Awards, you can always tell who will win based on the celebrities that show up. Sandra Bullock, Adam Sandler, Robert Downey Jr., and Justin Timberlake were all big winners of the night.
Talk about being "Drunk in Love." Or maybe they were just drunk. Actress Michelle Rodriguez and supermodel Cara Delevingne made quite the scene last night at Madison Square Garden. The duo sat courtside to watch the New York Knicks beat the Detroit Pistons. However, they barely saw the game. They were too busy making out.
The messy couple were drinking, cuddling, whispering in each other's ears, puffing e-cigarettes, and taking selfies the entire game. All eyes were definitely on them.
"Cara had to take Michelle's drink away from her during the 2nd half of the game. Michelle was so sloppy, it was embarrassing to watch," noted a fan who also attended the game.
Elle Magazine is once again receiving criticism about the way it has portrayed an actress on its cover. For its February “Women in Television” issue, actress Mindy Kaling is featured on one of four covers in a close up shot of her face. The other three covers which feature actresses Amy Poehler, Allison Williams, and Zooey Deschanel show them with full body shots.
Critics pointed out that Kaling, who previously stated in an interview with NPR that she is a size 8, was not given a full body shot on the cover because of her curves. Her cover is also the only one that is in black and white. The magazine received similar backlash last fall when it featured curvy actress Melissa McCarthy on its cover completely covered up in a coat, while other actress such as Reese Witherspoon were wearing form fitting dresses.
Earlier this week it was reported that Miley Cyrus was caught drag racing in a smart car down Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Cyrus was in the passenger seat of the car while music video director/choreographer Diane Martel was driving the car to Warwick nightclub.
Travis Kipp, owner of the New York modeling agency Fusion Models, posted on his Facebook page a picture of Cyrus in the car with the caption, “Miley tried to race us down Sunset Boulevard in a smart car. Needless to say we won.”
Come to find out though, they weren’t really drag racing after all. Kipp told E! News that the picture he posted of Cyrus was blown out of proportion. He stated to E! News, “I posted the photo on my Instagram saying 'Miley tried to drag race me,' but we were totally joking around and somebody picked it up off my Instagram and blew it up into this huge story. You can tell by the picture that she isn't even driving the car. It's so ridiculous."
Even is Cyrus really was drag racing, does anything she is caught doing these days really shock us anymore?
When the world lost Paul Walker, we lost an angel. At age 40, Walker was more than just a movie star--he was a generous philanthropist and devoted humanitarian. His list of charitable deeds surpases that of his peers, and the happiness he brought forth upon this earth is unmatchable. And with his passing he leaves his legacy through Reach Out World Wide, an organization he started in 2010 after the tragic earthquakes in Haiti.
In addition to this light he brought into the world, is the love her gave to those close to him---a strong love of friendship, support, and camaraderie. And although in the public eye, such love and humanity could never be seen by all. But in attempt to introduce the world to Paul Walker the friend, Vin Diesel posted a touching tribute video on his facebook just yesterday to honor his best friend.
After being criticized for not having enough diversity in its cast, Saturday Night Live has announced the hiring of comedian Sasheer Zamata. Zamata will be the shows first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph left the show in 2007.
Auditions to find a black female to join the SNL cast were held in December after the show started receiving criticism because six new cast members that joined the cast last fall were all white.
Zamata graduated from the University of Virginia in 2009 and is Upright Citizens Brigade alum. She will make her debut on SNL on January 18 when Drake is scheduled to host and be the musical guest.
