It’s been a few years since we’ve had a legit Hollywood feud, so recent reports of Emma Robert’s Lindsay Lohan diss have us on the edge of our seats. In an interview with Moviehole.net, the soon to be legal starlet used La Lohan as the example of what not to do to transition from teen star to legitimate actress. “I just think it's very thin ice you're walking on, to make the transition from child actor to adolescence. Because - you know, so many people just mess it up, and they do things that are so outrageous.” Why, whomever could you mean? “…like, Lindsay Lohan, you still know that she was in Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap, and it's hard to take her seriously.” Burn.
MTV reality star, Lauren Conrad celebrated her 23rd Birthday over the weekend in Vegas with a group of friends at the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino. LC’s entourage included boyfriend, Kyle Howard and roomie/BFF Lauren Bosworth or “Lo”. The party went with an “Eyes Wide Shut” theme as guests sported Venetian masks through dinner. After dinner, the crowd headed to Vegas hotspot Tao for plenty of dancing and cocktails. [us]
Pop Star Britney Spears has been in a rough custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline and is saying that she will cancel her ‘Circus’ tour if sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James can not accompany her. Britney, along with her dad Jamie and K-Fed, have tossed around a plan that would allow Brit to bring her kids along for the tour. Here is what we know so far: the plan is to have three different homes in three different regions – New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. The boys would stay at the houses while Brit commuted back and forth while doing shows in each region. Also, Britney would pay Kevin $4,000 for every week she is on tour. TMZ has confirmed that "Britney WILL cancel the tour if she can't take her kids... we know that for a fact."
Is the Queen of Pop becoming a cougar? Madonna, who has recently been linked to Yankees third basemen Alex Rodriguez has a new boy toy, 22 year old Brazilian model, Jesus Luz. The pair shared a romantic dinner at Macelleria, an Italian steakhouse in downtown Manhattan. Madge and her much younger friend were also seen having dinner in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in London for his twenty-second birthday. The two meet in December at a photo shoot, and she even asked him to accompany her on the last part of the South American leg of her Sticky and Sweet Tour.
Swimmer Michael Phelps was caught smoking pot over the weekend by a UK paper. News of the World printed a photograph of the 23 year old Olympic Gold Medalist taking a hit from a bong. In a statement released by Phelps he apologized, “I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment.” He also went on to say that it would never happen again.
The Olympic committee also issued a statement, “Michael has acknowledged that he made a mistake and apologized for his actions. We are confident that, going forward, Michael will consistently set the type of example we all expect from a great Olympic champion.”
St. Lucia is a small, tropical, but no longer tranquil island in the Caribbean Sea. Not since troubled pop star Amy Winehouse arrived at the tourist hot spot. According to British newspaper The Sun, she’s been on a rampage ever since. They report that guests “at the hotel have…been shocked by her antics, which include fighting with her friends and fellow tourists, running around the restaurant semi-clothed and draping herself over male and female guests alike.” One particularly ridiculous incident occurred when she allegedly approached an elderly couple who were trying to enjoy their meal in piece and repeatedly demanded that they buy her a drink. The elderly man, who also happens to be a Holocaust survivor, apparently stood up and scolded Winehouse, telling her that, “You need to learn more manners!”
In one of the most upsetting events for awkward teenage boys since they realized that panty vending machines would not make it to the U.S., Megan Fox has passed on the role of Lara Croft in the next “Tomb Raider.” Really? Hollywood’s such a cocktease sometimes. And also, I’d like to be the first person to make a reference to how I’d like to be her “womb raider.” And while I think my parents read this, seriously, look how hot she is and how witty I am.
Alas, "Megan is not involved in this movie," her rep said, as the balls of every adolescent male in the world turned an angry shade of blue.
As the NFC’s representative Arizona Cardinals square up to face the Steelers on Super Bowl Sunday, Giants fans will understandably feel like they’ve been left out in the cold. This isn’t to take anything away from the Cardinals, who are an exciting team to watch and completely deserving of a long awaited chance at the Vince Lombardi trophy, but after last season’s Super Bowl heroics against the heavily favored Patriots, it just seems like this year’s finale will be a little anticlimactic.
After starting the season at 11 and 1 like a pack of stampeding elephants nonchalantly trampling all those foolish enough to stand in their path to glory, the Giants collapsed at the end of the season, losing to the Vikings, Eagles, and Cowboys before sputtering out of the playoffs with a home-field defeat to those hated rivals, the Eagles.

Her world tour for Circus is set to begin on March 3rd in her home state of Louisiana. Spears has been training nonstop for the upcoming tour and it shows.
