Nearly three years ago, New York City-based jewelry designer, Alexandra Beth launched her jewelry line aptly named Alexandra Beth Designs. This recent college-grad found herself among the creme de la creme at a designer's casting call by none other than Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue. Not long after, buyers invited her to become a part of the highly coveted group of designers to host trunk shows throughout the year. Alexandra Beth is also a regular trunk show host at Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship store. Her designs can be found in more than 20 retail boutiques. If you happen to meet the young entrepreneur herself, you'll be pleased to notice that she is not fazed by her grand success, but is rather humbled and happy to have the ability to please customers with her creations.
Happy holiday shoppers rejoice! Just in time for the highly anticipated Black Friday, noted jewelry designer Karen London will be hosting a holiday trunk show at the Bloomingdale's Flag Ship and SoHo stores starting now through December. The trunk show will be held on various dates throughout the coming month from 11am-7pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to not only shop the exclusive 2012 Holiday collection, but also meet some of the most infamous fashion bloggers of today. Check out the schedule below to learn when you can meet Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge, Rachel Schwartzman of Le Style Child, and more.

Miami's most anticipated event of the year has arrived for South Florida's bargain-hunting foodies. From August through the end of September, Miami Spice presents a bounty of Dade County's best restaurants offering specially priced prix-fixe dinners at usually a fraction of what it usually costs to dine at some of these restaurants. I'm sure that most of you already have your Miami Spice to-do lists. Beginning this evening, however, a handful of the chefs participating in Miami Spice will be offering free cooking demonstrations of their creations to aid you in making your final selections. If you're Miami Spice itinerary is already fixed, then the cooking demonstrations will be an excellent opportunity to meet some of your favorite local chefs and perhaps get some tips on how to create your favorite dishes at home. Culinary demonstrations will be taking place throughout August and September at Whole Foods Market in Coral Gables and Bloomingdale's and Macy's in Aventura Mall and will occur on the following dates and times:

Graphic prints and patterns are always a great way to add some spunk to your style. They have been showing up on a multitude of frocks, from skater/snowboarder T’s, to denim, to chic dresses, and our current favorite, accessories. We are loving the look of the funky, graphic totes for summer and their ability to bring an outfit to life. With the bold statement that a bright, graphic bag makes, an otherwise plain outfit can really gain some great character. Mix them with other prints and patterns for a mad fad look, or go the simplistic route with black or white from head-to-toe, and they'll make a real pop on your ‘blank canvas’ ensemble.
