It's a Thursday. I’m trying to get off the couch because it's already been a long week. Then, the incentive to get motivated comes in the form of a text message from Jessica White. Sport Illustrated models always get me motivated. She’s in town, bored and wants to hangout. My response? I’m in! She’s staying at the Standard Hotel. I offer to pick her up because I haven’t been there yet and I’m curious. The hotel lobby is small and there is a cute little bar that services the lobby. I’m sure there’s more to come. Mean while, Ms. White has me waiting 20 minutes. Jeez… I love it!
The Black Eyed Peas are slated to release their first album since 2005, entitled, "The E.N.D.," on June 9 via Interscope. The LP, which stands for “The Energy Never Dies”, was originally slated for a March release, but fans will simply have to wait until the summer.
The album's first single, "Boom Boom Pow," will soon be serviced to radio and clubs. The group is planning an international tour in support of the release.
Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am previously told Billboard that he hopes the album will continue to evolve even after it is released. "When [the album] comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End,' so the energy really, truly never dies,” he said.
