'Tis the time of year when the we dust of our green attire, drink green beer, and party 'til we all think we're actually Irish. St. Patrick's Day is upon us and it's one of the most infamous drinking holidays. In honor of our favorite excuse to booze, we've rounded up some of the most delicious (and lucky) libations for you to celebrate with. Enjoy!
Broken Basil (Courtesy of Broken Shed Vodka)
1.7 oz. of Russian Standard
5 oz. of ginger beer
Serve it in a copper mug and garnish it with a lime wedge. Enjoy!
Electrolyte (served Upstairs at Kimberly Hotel)
4 big chunks fresh watermelon- muddled
½ oz. pineapple juice
juice from half a lemon
1½ oz. vodka (non-flavored)
Serve in a highball glass with ice and a vertical watermelon slice garnish.
2 oz. Broken Shed Vodka
crushed basil leaves (generous amount)
Broken Shed Vodka, founded in 2009 in New Zealand, has finally made its way to America. Integration into the US market began in June and has been well-received so far. The vodka is distilled four times from New Zealand whey, additive-free, and uses multiple water sources from New Zealand.
