Cedric Gervais recently won a Grammy Award for his remix to Lana Del Rey's 'Summertime Sadness,' does the French DJ have the Midas touch when it comes to producing his remixes?
We think so! Miley Cyrus' 'Adore You' has just received the Cedric Gervais treatment with his signature bouncy basslines and quite honestly, Miley's voice suits electronic music pretty well.
Check out the official music video for this remix below, out now via Spinnin' Records.

French producer, Cedric Gervais won his first Grammy award this past Sunday for the Best Remixed Recording of a Non-Classical song, with his remix of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness". This song went global in 2013 and it hasn't faded away long past its season. It garnered its initial fame on the dance floor and soon after took over the airwaves as it climbed up multiple charts - most notably hitting #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Grammy nominated DJ/Producer, Cedric Gervais, isn't skipping a beat in 2014. He's already come out with a new track, 'The Look' which will be released through Spinnin' Records on January 31st. In the meantime, you can listen to the preview of the track below.
From the preview of the track, it sounds like this tune will definitely be a dance music hit for the upcoming music festivals. With its infectiously bouncy drop, Cedric Gervais certainly shows why he's had the prolific year that he had in 2013. His skills and sounds are true to his style, and this remixing mastro (hence his Grammy nomination for 'Best Remixed Recording') shows no sign of slowing down in the new year.
With a plethora of shows to choose from in the New York City area this New Years Eve, there had to be some difficulty for people to choose which party to go to. But those that were smart and fortunate enough to attend Joonbug's New Years Eve party at Pier 36, were in for an amazing night, and we're not just saying that because it was our party! DJ Mag was right when they rated this party as #1 in the country for NYE. It truly was an experience that only happens once a year.
From the very entrance of the venue, you could feel the energy to quickly build into something euphoric. With Michelle Francheska opening the show, everything was fallling right into place. The venue was very spacious, the sound system was spectacular (extremely loud, yet still clear), the massive stage and video screen, the 3-hour incluseive open bar was top knotch as well. All the elements were set for what was going to be one of the best nights of the year.
2013 has been a very big year for the very talented Cedric Gervais; not only did he see much success for his collaboration with Bogore on their hit "Deception," but also, the Lana Del Ray vs Cedric Gervais "Summertime Sadness" remix is his biggest hit to date. Back in February, the widely popular tune landed the coveted #1 spot on Beatport, and managed to stay there for an impressive two weeks. Following this, the song saw fantastic air play, climbing international charts. It became the No.1 most added track in the US over the summer, No. 4 on the official UK Charts, No.16 on the American Billboard Charts, and No. 17 on the U.S iTunes chart to name a few. And during all this, the all star DJ kept up with a busy touring schedule, bringing joy to fans worldwide.

In 2012, Joonbug welcomed deadmau5 to the stage, and 2013 saw Armin van Buuren take front and center. Legendary parties in their own right, they had the nation talking and wanting more. Ergo, this year we are upping the ante, giving the people exactly what the people want, and then some, by offering a whole lot more. Additionally, the venue boasts a massive dance floor, perfect for dancing the night away. There will be a live countdown on stage--but don't worry, the party will continue to rage long after the midnight hour.
