“So who wants to get wet? If you want to get wet make some motherf*cking noise!” Oh yeah, we want to get wet.
At 6 pm, just before David Solano entered the stage, hot pink paint sprayed generously form a hose onto an excited crowd. However, this was simply an introduction—basically a tease. It was the first paint- shooting of the evening, and it was used to get the crowd excited and wanting more. It worked. When David began, the energy level vastly increased and people began to show some real interest in what was taking place on stage. We heard tracks like Hardwell’s “Three Triangles (Losing My Religion),” Afrojack ft. Chris Brown’s “As Your Friend,” and a mashup of “Young, Wild and Free” (Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa ft. Bruno Mars) vs. “Mammoth” (Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike). We also got to hear Solano’s latest track, “Loco.” But it wasn’t until R3hab & Solano’s “Do It (Life In Color Anthem 2013)” played that the real paint party began. Neon green and pink paint shot 40 feet into the crowd from guns, cannons, and hoses, in conjunction with thousands of pieces of white confetti. Appropriate.
Coming straight from DC’s Life In Color Festival to NY in order to play a very special set, is the Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer, Afrojack. For one night only, Afrojack, born Nick van de Wall, will be taking over MCU Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, to put on show like none he has presented before.
MCU Park, home to the minor league baseball team, the Brooklyn Cyclones, is a Brooklyn landmark. Situated just outside Coney Island’s famous boardwalk, the park features breathtaking views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the historic amusement park. Although the park endured significant damage from last year’s Hurricane Sandy, the venue is now revitalized and ready for a party even stronger than the hurricane itself.
Early Friday morning, our favorite bad boy crooner, Chris Brown, suffered a seizure! The singer was working in the Los Angeles recording studio, The Record Planet, when he suddenly collapsed, encountering a non-epileptic seizure. Emergency personnel reportedly rushed to the studio after receiving a call of Chris’ health status. The 24 year old singer refused to go to the hospital or receive treatment for the attack.
Brown’s rep shared a statement with E! News, "While in the studio working early this morning, Chris suffered a non-epileptic seizure (NES), He was not hospitalized. If you are wondering what exactly are NES, Non-epileptic seizures are episodes that briefly change a person's behavior and may look like epileptic seizures, according to the Epilepsy Foundation. His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."
Chris Brown has been having a difficult time escaping his troubled past. From his controversial on -and- off -again relationship with pop star Rihanna, to throwing bottles at Drake, to hit and runs, the 24-year-old can’t seem to find the rightful path.
On Tuesday, August 6, Brown took to his Twitter to vent, saying, “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album. Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool & over it!” The R&B star turned himself in earlier that day to the Van Nuys police department around 2PM for his hit-and-run case. He was released less than an hour later due to "overcrowding." Which is something celebrities seem to get away with quite often.
In the recent issue of Elle magazine, our favorite bad girl Rihanna finally sheds some light on her relationship with lover Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in 2009. Rihanna has been in the media a lot recently for her "don't give a f*ck attitude." She has uploaded a plethora of photos smoking weed, nude, or with Chris Brown even when we all thought he was still with his now ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Last week, Rihanna and Chris Brown’s music video, ‘Nobody’s Business’ leaked across the inter-web. And today, photos of the effed up duo surfaced online with RiRi straddling her formerly abusive bff. Um, okay. So, Rihanna’s been dropping several hints of her probable reunion with Brown for well over two-weeks. The twosome even spent Thanksgiving together in Berlin and Rihanna shared an instagram photo of Brown shirtless in bed followed by a pic of their new matching Rolex watches. How long do you give the reunited couple?

The song pre-maturely hit the web like wild fire and let's just say, it's pretty great and quite infectious. And of course it’s about how much they love each other and how that’s “Nobody's Business.”
And, they’re right; it is nobody's business but their own. Oh, and the millions of people that will hear this song. It’s their business too.
Listen to the pop hop tune here:
Through the course of the past year, it seems like at any point there would be a headline that came out of the woodwork that read 'Chris Brown and Rihann Reunite.' Well folks, following weeks of rumors, it appears that today is that day.
People began to talk when the two began recording songs together and it continued when they were seen vacationing together in the South of France. But people are definitely talking now after Chris Brown was seen leaving Rihanna's hotel yesterday, the same day which it was announced that Brown and (now former girlfriend) Karrueche Tran were calling it quits.
It's hard to forget the 2009 incident that forced Rihanna to cancel her scheduled performance at the 51st Grammy Awards ceremony. The domestic dispute between her and R&B singer Chris Brown left her badly bruised on the outside as well as the inside. The fallout which took place after the event was tremendous. DJs refused to play his music. Radio stations dropped him from their roster. Fans moved on and refused to buy his music. For a time, it seemed that his career was grinding to a complete halt- when all of a sudden his Cirque Du Soliel inspired "flying" performance at the 2011 VMA's earned him the comeback he needed.
