Diane Von Fürstenberg’s new collaboration with ROXY is set to launch just in time for spring break! Being released online and in stores on March 7th, the surfer-chic collab between the high-profile designer and the Huntington Beach, CA.-based apparel line is a celebration of natural beauty and confidence. All pieces “reflect Diana Von Fürstenberg’s love of beach culture and nature as well as ROXY’s active and trailblazing spirit.” By combining DVF’s fun, bold prints with ROXY’s signature swim silhouettes the line is playful and empowering. Designed “for women who want to be the women they want to be” the collection includes ROXY’s beach essentials such as swimwear, cover-ups, board shorts, rash guards, and beach bags. For the most part, the bikini separates can be mixed and matched to create a bikini that’s perfect for your body type and style sense. We especially love the pastel tribal print of the Hopscotch Multi bikini with Knotted Bandeau Top! (top: $54, bottom: $46)

As many of you know, located in beautiful Bergen County, NJ -- the Neiman Marcus Paramus location is a premiere shopping experience. The area is known for their malls, and Neiman's certainly doesn't disappoint.
Summer wedding attire can be tricky for even the best stylistas. Day, night, beach (or other equally picturesque destinations), can result in a wardrobe conundrum that proves to be even more stressful than our daily decisions. It’s not always easy to achieve the perfect balance between looking fabulous but not stealing the show, statement-making accessories that still allow you to dance the night away, and expert styling for a look appropriate in any setting. Here are a few ideas for celebratory styles that will keep you confident and comfortable long after you’ve caught the bouquet.
Summer is a great time to show off your one-of-a-kind style and purchase a few essentials for your wardrobe. We all have the plain white T, pair of ray-bans, cut-off shorts, beach bag and pair of loafers hiding somewhere in our closets, but this summer, its time to liven up those pieces up! Take a look at these trendy new ways to freshen up the basic pieces and help make a statement with your summer wardrobe.
The Not-So-Plain White T
Everyone has a basic white t-shirt, whether it's a plain V-neck or a scoop; it’s an essential piece in every woman's closet. Instead of grabbing for the simple white T, go for a cool neckline or an asymmetrical hem! We love the look of this White T by Diane Von Furstenberg as it takes a new, chic look to the stable wardrobe piece with its wide neck, thick, asymmetrical hem, and oversized sleeves.
CFDA and Ebay have taken a second lap around with their collaboration of customized handbags promoting awareness for the unfortunate spread of counterfeit fashion with a strong tag line in big bold print saying “You Can’t Fake Fashion." More than 70 designers have contributed their creations to this cause including Diane von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, Betsey Johnson and The Row. The auction started this morning at 11 am EST, and all will be sold on Ebay until March 31st. At $200 a bag, the designs are in 4 exclusive shapes: the duffle tote, the satchel tote, the gear tote, and the bucket tote. There is also an exclusive line of simpler bags going for $45, encouraging all you creatives to customize them yourselves. But hurry up and get them while they are still available! Many have sold out in just hours, and if it’s anything like the CFDA and Ebay collabo that went down last year, fans from all over the world will be scrambling to get the last of these stylish totes! All items will be sold under Ebay’s “buy it now” tab.
Join in on a good cause; contribute to the awareness of counterfeit designs and carry around a great bag to show your support for fashion and its right to be real!
In celebration of CFDA’s 50th anniversary and their exhibition, Impact, the Museum at FIT will also be hosting a series of lectures, starting with the CFDA president herself, Diane von Furstenberg.

Last night, W Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Stefano Tonchi, partnered up with Global P&G Prestige President, Joanne Crews, to host the Ever Changing Face of Beauty event at our big apple’s Park Avenue Armory. In the frenzy of Fashion Week, W pulled out all the stops using the massive arena-like space to welcome more than 600 guests. If there was ever a fashion week party worth clawing your way into, this was it.
The event celebrated a video installation by world-renowned fashion photographer, Sølve Sundsbø and had a celebrity guest list that could go on for days. The video featured 2 large screens representing man on one, and woman on the other. Throughout the video, both screens show the outcomes of evolution in beauty around the world and its consequences.
Neon is making a victory lap and a successful comeback this spring in all sorts of ways. It made an appearance a few seasons ago, and of course we all remember its big hit in the electric eighties, but is it possible that this somewhat tacky look has come to our spring 2012 making a classy third appearance?
We here at Joonbug have found a few neon favs for this spring that could definitely make the once-was cheap trend, turn into a fashion forward chic look.
Check out our favorite bright pieces that made the Not Your Typical Neon list in the slideshow!
