If you've never heard of American DJ and Producer, Dillon Francis, before you're in for a treat. Not only is he one of the leading pioneers of moombahton, but he has an online personality that's both bizarre and hilarious, to say the least. As a music producer and DJ, Dillon is capable of releasing catchy and festive tunes that are a special blend of hip-rocking beats and upbeat melodies. As an online personality, he's mastered the ingenuity of social media and took it upon himself to create multiple personalities like DJ Hanzel and Craigslist Connie, all of which he reeanacts himself on his Instagram account.
All the supporting artists were handpicked by Alex, himself, which goes to show the tremendous amount of effort that he put into this tour.
The tour dates were released along with a 2014 Tour Mix which you can listen to here, to get you hyped for his upcoming tour.
A whirling and swirling 'Blizzard' of foam took over Club Amazura this past saturday night in Jamaica, Queens. Doors opened at 9pm for the nationally-reconginzed Electric Flurry Tour and the space quickly began to overflow with music-enthuasts and party-goers alike.
The venue itself (Club Amazura) set the tone for what would be a thrilling and exciting experience. The Roseland-Ballroom-of-Queens sports an enormous dance floor, positioned between two elongated bars on both sides of the room. The room itself vast in size was nothing compared to what could be seen on stage as attendees entered the venue. A massive Foam-Blasting Cannon was placed in the center of the stage which would be the focal point of the most anticipated moment of the night.

Returning back to his New York techno beginnings, Roger Sanchez's latest single "My Roots" showcases his original house sound with a blend of modern influences. Sanchez says "I went back to my grimy, dirty jackin' house sounds with this one, and it's very representative of my DJ'ing technique with builds, big bass line drops and huge soaring vocals," which is exactly what this song offers.
This visually stunning music video was directed by Sherif Higazy, a film student at University of Southern California. The art direction of the video goes well with the theme of the song, as it shows classic New York landscapes and vynil records being revived by splashes of vivid color.
Can you tell us about some of the parties/venues that shaped you as an artist and a performer?
Diego Camejo: The first venue I started DJing at consistently was Mokai. Being the resident here has taught me so much. Because it is a small boutique club, it is naturally a very intimate setting. It is a venue where people are not necessarily going to focus on the DJs performance; they’re their to have a good time, which makes it more difficult as a DJ to craft a set that gets people’s attention.
