Clothing + Transportation Hub = Great Idea

What happens when you add luxe fashion to one of Manhattan’s biggest transportation nucleuses? Ok, I’m not sure- but that’s what’s going to happen next month at the Port Authority. Blank SL8, a 2,500 square foot space that, according to NYmag, was created to “showcase design, fashion, and visual arts created by New Yorkers.”

The idea came about when fashion website Refinery 29 and the Fashion Center Business Improvement District sat down and decided the Garment District needed some help. And what better way to help the Garment District than to have a pop-up shop in one of the busiest places in Manhattan- complete with countless tourists?
