Spring has finally showed up and what better way to celebrate the beautiful weather than with a night out at the club? This weekend, Gansevoort Park's Red Room hosts two of the City’s up and coming DJs, both transplants from California and NYU alums, John Hamilton and Rhett Bixler.
Friday, April 5th
John Hamilton at The Red Room (Gansevoort Park, 420 Park Avenue South)
With a stage presence that resembles some of the greats, a talented ear, an ambitious attitude and a humble personality—John Hamilton is working his way up in the dance music scene. This Sacramento native and NYU grad has opened for the likes of Steve Aoki and TV Rock. He has also turned heads at The Belvedere Music Lounge alongside Tiesto, Dada Life and Nervo during Miami Music Week. In addition to playing the college circuit, Hamilton has headlined countless venues throughout NYC such as Santos Party House, Pink Elephant and WIP.
This weekend for some is the end of their Spring Break and others are home for the holidays. So what better way to celebrate spring happenings than to party the night away? Below are four great ways to spend the end of your vacation before heading back to school or work on Monday.
Friday’s Above Park at Gansevoort Park Rooftop (420 Park Avenue South)
Doors open at 10pm featuring music by DJ Lorasp Kansara in the Red Room.
Sometimes we tend to get a bit stir crazy around the holidays, however, it is the season of giving. So head down to a fun charity event that'll satisfy both your nightlife craving and your charitable spirit.
Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC, along with Status Luxury Group, will hold the annual Celebrate Your Status gala on Monday, December 17th at 9pm. The goal of the evening is to raise $20,000 and collection 2,000 toys for supermodel Petra Nemcova's Happy Hearts Fund. All toys and proceeds from the event will benefit children and schools effected by Hurricane Sandy through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
