Ghouls, goblins and ghosts alike, prepare to to descend to the depths of "Webster Hell" this evening for the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. Taking place at the eerie and cavernous Webster Hall, this unforgettable event - which also happens to be the official After Party of the NYC Halloween Parade - kicks off at 8PM and rages until the wee hours of the morning.
Known to many at the turn of the century as "The Devil's Playground," the historic Webster Hall is the perfect setting for a sordid Halloween evening of sin and debauchery. The venue first opened its doors in 1886 and quickly became known for its shameless displays of hedonism, exhibitionism and consumption - 128 years later, one need only walk through the front door to know that very little has changed.

If you're anything like us, Halloween is one of your favorite times of year, and the end of the month can't come quick enough. While we were fantasizing about the big day (ONLY EIGHT DAYS AWAY, BY THE WAY!!), we decided to write about some of the best Halloween-based libations the city has to offer, as well as some recipes for awesome D.I.Y. Halloween drinks if you happen to be hosting at home.
When you think of Halloween tastes, sake might not immediately come to mind, but The Witch’s Eye at Zengo is definitely worth checking out. The sparking Sake is muddled with Pisco and fresh grapes, while the garnish--a frozen grape, meant to look like a witch’s eye---gives this Asian-inspired cocktail it’s scare factor.
622 Third Ave, New York, NY
