After being a contestant on Fox's hit reality series Hell's Kitchen in 2007, Chef Seth Levine has been taking the culinary world by storm. Levine has steadily compiled an impressive résumé, which runs the gamut from taking the role as executive chef for both Georgica and Wine and Roses in New York, opening POP YOGURT- one of the hottest frozen yogurt shops in Manhattan, and becoming a contributing editor to the internationally-distributed FOOD Magazine.
This Sunday, join the East End Photographers Group at The Water Mill Museum to sample some of the finest food from Chef John Silva. Silva, owner of Honesty in Flavor Inc., will be serving complimentary tastings of inspired international dishes.
With an emphasis on raw/vegan food and a variety of cuisines from around the world, Chef Silva has made a name for himself in the culinary world. He is a member of several organizations including the International Association of Culinary Professionals, and the International Chef Association.
This week in the Hamptons, East Hampton staple Nick and Toni’s is partnering up with Edible New York to host Eat and Drink Local Week. The event is bringing together restaurants, wineries, and other purveryors to provide diners with local and fresh ingredients. Some participating restaurants include Beacon Restaurant, Fresno Restaurant, and famed Hamptons staple, Ruschemeyer's.
The menu is prepared by Executive Chef and grillmaster Chef Jospeh Realmuto and will cost $45 and $55 a person depending on the day. Some menu items include Crispy East End Calamari with Pea Vines and Sweet Pea Aioli, Local Littleneck Clams, Grilled Lamb Medallions with Nick and Toni’s Garden Swiss Chard, and Strawberry Panna Cotta with Local Rhubarb and Orange Compote.
