Angelina Jolie? Julia Roberts? Jennifer Lawrence? What do all these A-list actresses have in common?
None of these ladies are highest paid actress in Hollywood.
Who is you ask?
Well that would be none other than Twilight’s leading lady – Kristen Stewart.
Forbes reports that between May 2011 and May 2012 the starlet earned a whooping 34.5 million dollars. At 22 Kristen Stewart is the youngest woman on the list, the next youngest is Kristen Wigg at 38.
With a shining bright smile, a short blonde 9-year-old boy named Luke Spring opened the evening with an impressive tap dance number, riling up the crowd like a smokey cabaret lounge cheering on a young prodigy.
For 30 years, the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards have been honoring the dancers and choreographers that have gone over looked by mainstream recognition.
As producer and welcoming speaker and Patricia Watt puts it, "We're here in the middle of awards season and dancers have yet to be recognized. Well, we're here to change all that."
Poor John Travolta. It seems everyday there is a top story about his alleged homosexuality. The famed actor continues to get thrown under the bus amidst continuous allegations and he doesn't seem to be coming out (in more ways than one) any time soon. From cross-dressing photos exposed to sexual harassment suits filed by male massage therapists and alleged relationships with male porn stars and his personal pilot Doug Gotterba, Travolta's personal life is anything but personal.
The 35-year-old actress and her 32-year-old husband of 3 years, are finally going to start their own family and are expecting a child this fall. The happy couple have been candid about starting their own big brood of children, even telling mags like People that Pratt wanted a "big family" and that he wanted to be a father as soon as possible.
Faris has been quite busy lately as her movie The Dictator opens in theaters May 16. She is also currently in London filming Working Title's I Give It a Year with Rose Byrne and Simon Baker. Pratt is filming Zero Dark Thirty and we will see him in Ten Year alongside Channing Tatum this September.
We wish you all the best guys!
Twenty-three years later and still crazy in love like when they first met.
In an interview for Redbook’s April issue, Sedgwick, 46, dishes on her steamy relationship with hubby, Kevin Bacon, 53. “When he walks into a room…my heart gets a little fluttery and I think, ‘Oh! He’s so cute. He’s so hot,” What could be the success to this lasting marriage? Sedgwick says, “He’s still a mystery to me.”
As for being a mom to Travis, 22 and daughter, Sosie, 20, life’s pretty good for The Closer star.
Every year movie (and party) lovers from all over the world flock to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival. It's the world's largest independent film festival and includes 10 days of non-stop films, celebrities, parties, mingling, and networking. And Talent Resources has certainly returned to Sundance 2012 with a bang! Their gifting suites have been jam-packed with celebrities swooping up gifts from sponsors such as Rachel Roy, Sean John, Cream of Wheat, The Teaologist, DL1961 Premium Denim, Prasad Medical Skincare, and more!
Everyone from William H. Macy to Mary J. Blige has shown up to get their hands on free goodies. But it wasn't all about receiving; celebs also gave back by signing custom silver Cream of Wheat thermoses that are to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity.
It's that time of year again --Hollywood's award season! The time of year where people obsess over who-won -what-wearing-what-on-the-arm-of-who. Did you get all that? More importantly, film greatness is honored and recognized. While the Academy Awards have received lukewarm reviews in the past few years over choice of host, a slow-moving program, and generally unfunny punchlines; everyone gets excited over who will win best Actor and Actress in a leading role, and that final nailbiting moment: Best Picture of the Year.
(For the record, leads we're pulling for are Brad Pitt in Moneyball and Glenn Close in Albert Nobbs.)

Maybe a more appropriate area to be associated with wealth hoarding is Hollywood, rather than New York's financial district. Last year, just six major movie studios (Warner Bros. Pictures, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney/Touchstone Pictures, Columbia Pictures and Universal Pictures) dominated 85% of the US & Canadian Market. It’s time to occupy some alternative spaces and show a little love to our independent filmmakers, festivals and theaters.
The 10th Annual Miami Short Film Festival takes place this week, November 13th - 19th. This is South Florida’s only short film festival with a mission to present quality films from around the world…under 30 minutes. Great idea, considering America’s declining attention span. The festival hosts a variety of seminars and short films, with shows generally starting at 7:30 PM at the Colony Theater on Lincoln Road. Here are some films to look forward to [full schedule here]:
11/14: The Glorious Crew featuring God of Love directed by Luke Matheny and last year’s winner at the Academy Awards plus the animated Chicory 'N' Coffee directed by Dušan Kastelic; winner of over twenty awards at international film festivals.
