The Hyden Yoo Fall/Winter 2012 collection was a bit of a departure from seasons past. Always possessing an effortlessly cool, disaffected style, this season seemed more mature; as if the Hyden Yoo men and women left their Ivy League colleges to start their bigger, better, more Manhattan lifestyles. According to the designer, “Sartorial dressing and unattainable beauty tell a classic tale” at this season’s presentation. Yoo considers both sides of the class tale of a man pining for an unattainable, elusive woman. He’s not shy, don’t get us wrong, but cerebral and self-aware, as well as dapper and sartorially savvy.
