Sarah Jessica Parker played an iconic NYC fashionista on Sex and the City, inspiring us to dress fabulously like it's our job! The best news came with the launch of SJP's own shoe line! The SJP collection has a fitting name - SJP!
SJP was already photographed opening the store on Wednesday and we are so excited!
“This vision felt like a mere dream five weeks ago,” said Parker to WWD's Footwear News earlier this week. “The best part is having Nordstrom be enthusiastic about this particular brand and collection.”
Happy Birthday, you fabulous, fashionable, and undeniably sexy woman! Thank you for inviting us into your amazing birthday via instagram -- we are totally jealous that we couldn't be there with you! Like, oh my god, it looks amazing.
You've had quite a year and we are so proud of how strong you are. You started off at 25 with then boyfriend, Chris Brown, which you got over (just like all of us) with tweets and instagram posts. You are now flirting up a storm with Drake, and we totally love it. We are so proud! You go girl!
Mark & Estel closed of the first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in serious style! We thought nothing could top Betsey Johnson's cartwheels but we were mistaken! The music and fashion duo rocked the runway with their “Old World” Fall/Winter 2014 Collection.
As huge fans of the duo we were already on our feet with all the sneak peeks on Mark & Estels instagram and twitter feed all day!
Brucie, an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, will feature a special menu for Valentine's Day inspired by Beyonce and her boo Jay-Z. The Carrol Gardens eatery put together appetizers, pastas, and a main course with punny names and related ingredients.
For example, the starter options include dishes like Blue Ivy (smoked blue potatoes, chiriboga blue, trout roe, and watercress) and Oysters Rocafella. Items on the pasta menu are Jay-Ziti ("Carter" clothbound cheddar, speck, sweet potato, and sage pistu) and Halo (angel hair pasta, truffle, burnt angel food cake breadcrumbs). The last course is composed of meat entrees as per typical Italian style, with options like Breastiny's Child, a veal breast braciole, pickled fig, sopresatta, and goat yogurt or the Drunk in Love with negroni short rib, beef heart salad, and farro gremalata. Don't forget to add some Beyonce-ified sides such as the Diva is a female version of a brusstla (which we're assuming means brussel sprouts).
Shockingly awesome, of course, Beyonce uploaded a bare-faced photo of herself yesterday on Instagram. The photo inevitably became viral shortly after she posted what looks like a selfie of herself. She looks refreshingly human, quite a stark contrast from her empowering performance at the GRAMMY's last Sunday.
But that's why we all love Queen Bey. She can play up the drunk-in-love vixen role for a performance then turn it down for a more personal look for social media.
Special kudos to the Instagram app for changing the way celebrities can share all their personal photos with fans!

Although at this point in her career Madonna is no stranger controversy, this time it involves her son Rocco. The singer posted a photo of her son, whom she had with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, on her Instagram account that shows him with some friends holding bottles of vodka and gin. The photo, which she captioned, “The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014,” has garnered over a 1,000 comments.
Even though the picture was taken in Switzerland where the legal drinking age is 16, Rocco is still underage being that he is only 13. While Madonna has been criticized for posting the photo, fans of the singer have been leaving comments defending her and her actions.
On January 5, the singer posted another photo of Rocco’s friends that appear in the controversial picture with him with the caption, "No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!"
