Halle Berry Rocks a New '70s Look

For a recent Russia Interview magazine, Halle Berry rocked a 70’s inspired wardrobe akin to Diana Ross in Mahogany. And in her new movie, The Call, where she plays a 911 caller on the hunt for a serial killer, Halle wears a funky, curly afro, that is also vaguely '70s. What gives? We know Marc Jacobs, as far back as 2010, sent Louis Vuitton models down the runway in ruffled baby doll dresses and curly afro wigs. Is the afro making a comeback?

Olivia Palermo Designing?

After reviewing the trailer for the upcoming season of The City, it struck us as kind of odd that Joe Zee of Elle coerced Olivia Palermo into being a 'reporter' for the publication - opting to tell her it would make her more famous.

But, we wondered, what exactly does Olivia want to be famous for? She's already attempted to be an actress - or shall we say someone who darts in front of any camera. She's deemed herself a fashionable girl - taking note of her DvF and Elle stints - and she's now calling herself a jewelry designer, by partnering up with Roberta Freymann for a capsule collection.

Jersey Shore for Interview Mag?

I recall someone asking me who I would hook up with from the cast of Jersey Shore. I hesitantly answered Mike "The Situation," but quickly replaced my slimy answer with Pauly D and his nympho piercing.

But this is now, and that was last week.

One could only imagine my surprise when photos of The Situation and supermodel Bar Refaeli surfaced (Pauly D and cast must have been somewhere in the background). The two were being photographed by Terry Richardson for Interview Magazine.

Only one of two things could possibly be responsible for this travesty:

  1. After being invited to Fashion Week, the cast - or maybe just The Situation - used their prying boardwalk eyes to corner an overly drunk editor (who's never even heard of MTV), only to convince them that they were Whitney Port famous, and desperately in search of more publicity. And, we all know how short long that road is.
  2. Simple. Bar Refaeli has the hots for the cast. Leonardo DiCaprio not included.
Natalie Portman Was Afraid of the Smurfs

In the September issue of Interview magazine, Natalie Portman further confirms her charm and irresistibility during an interview with Brothers costar Jake Gyllenhaal. It's almost annoyingly adorable that she loves "really, really obscene hip hop" because it makes her laugh and want to dance. "Wait(The Whisper Song)" is her current favorite, and with lyrics like "wait 'til you see my dick," who could blame her?
