June is Pride Month, and Pride Month means a month chock full of fun to support a great cause. Yet without the helping hands of a lot of socially conscious New Yorkers, many of these fun events would not be possible. Here is a roundup of some of the charitable events taking place in June around New York in support of the LGBT community this year.

The LGBT Community Center will be hosting a number of events throughout the month. The biggest of these events is the Inspiration Gala New York from 6:30pm until 11pm on Thursday, June 13th. This is a huge event for the LGBT community and has helped raise awareness for the gay community and $6 million so far for the Foundation for AIDS Research. The Gala will be a glamorous, star-studded event that will feature a live performance by Carly Rae Jepsen, special guests Alexa Chung and Liza Minnelli, as well as a live DJ set by The Dolls (Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe). The honorees for this year's Gala are Valentino, Jennifer Lopez, and Alan Cumming. There are only a limited amount of tickets so be sure to get them while you can. The LGBT Community Center is located at 208 West 13th Street.

After two seasons on American Idol, Jennifer Lopez has hinted that she may not return to the judges panel. She recently spoke with TODAY's Natalie Morales during an interview about her role in the latest Ice Age installment and she said, "I love everybody, I love the guys but I am thinking it's time for me to go and do other things I love to do, like films."

She has also metioned in other interviews that she puts a lot on hold in order to do Idol. "It's a huge decision, but I have to say there are so many things I do that I put on hold for that," Lopez reasoned. "It's a heartbreaking decision if I have to go," according to Us Weekly.

Jennifer Lopez stepped out in Santiago Chile on Monday with her beau Casper Smart, sporting a new do. During her time as a judge on at Fox’s American Idol, Lopez was photographed with a plethora of different hairstyles, all long with blonde tips. With her world tour co-headlining with singer Enrique Iglesias kicking off earlier this month she has been experimenting with different look. Most recently the superstar opted for shoulder length curls as oppose to the long locks she has been wearing for months. It seems as though the “American Idol” judge has the right idea for summer.

Even though they’ve both clearly moved on from each other with younger people months ago, Anthony has only recently put the final nail in the coffin.

Three days ago, Marc Anthony, 43, officially filed papers to divorce Jennifer Lopez. He cited "irreconcilable differences," and is seeking to have joint physical custody of their twins, Emma and Max, 4.

Back in July, both singers announced their separation but said they would still continue to work together on their show, Q'Viva! The Chosen.

It was revealed during last night's episode of 'American idol' that Jermaine Jones, the 25-year-old vocal instructor from Pine Hill, N.J., was disqualified for lying to producers of the show and failing to mention that he has outstanding arrest warrants back home in New Jersey.

Jones has had multiple run-ins with the law, but when asked prior to being in the top 24, Jones lied and said he hasn’t been in a fight since high school, though police records prove Jones' pants are certainly on fire!

Multiple run-ins with the law include:

March 5, 2011: Jones was involved in a fight at a Howard Johnson Hotel in Jersey. Following the incident he gave cops the false name, Joel Jones. He was also charged with public nuisance and obstruction of justice, as well as held on charges from previous warrants. At the time, Jermaine had a total of 4 outstanding warrants, 3 for driving on a suspended license, and 1 for disorderly conduct with an open container.

Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love and the special bond between two people. Well, not here. We are here to give you guys the anti-Valentine’s Day article with the biggest celebrity breakups of this past year. You’re welcome.

Back in October of 2010, pop mega star Katy Perry married British funny man Russell Brand. A whole 14 months later the couple calls it quits and they filed for divorce. Well, I should say Russel filed for divorce. It seems that Katy wanted Russel to file for the divorce so that she would not upset her evangelical Christian parents by ending the marriage herself. Um, no offense but have they heard her first single? Anyway, the judge has granted the former couple a divorce but it will not be finalized till July. Out of all the celebrity couples, we aren’t that surprised that this one didn’t work out. Called it from the beginning!

Young love never does last. Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts have proven this theory. Just this past December, the Glee star confirmed that he is indeed dating Emma, after months of being seen with each other. According to sources, the Scream 4 actress was very cold to Chord in the weeks leading up to their split. A close source had said, "Emma told Chord he didn't need to spend New Year's with her. It was just her and her girlfriends, a tradition she always does," and, "Emma is pretty difficult to be in a relationship with." Yeah, it definitely seems that way. According to US Weekly, during a Golden Globes after party, Chord was left waiting outside alone at the CAA party at the Sunset Hotel. Emma was supposed to come outside to get her boyfriend but never did and apparently was ignoring all of his text messages. He was overheard saying, “Emma does this all the time she doesn’t want to see me.” Aw, poor guy. We just don’t see how you can be mean to such a cute face!! Well, the couple did eventually call it quits and he is back on the market ladies! Singing “Summer Lovin’” on Glee was definitely appropriate we think. He did look super cute all Danny Zuko-ed up.

We're not sure which season is more brutal on our hair, winter or summer. Both bring extreme weather and temperatures that make our locks look like a hot mess. From the humidity in the summer to the icy rain and snowfall in the winter, our mane is all over the place. There are some days not even the best products can save our heads. Sometimes it's out of our control. However, there are some hair faux pas we can control (at least most of them).

Here are some hair no-no's that never work, no matter how trendy they may become.

2011 has been an incredible year, sartorially speaking. Ultimately, we decided that the criteria to make Joonbug's "Top Looks of 2011" list lay within three very simple (and very visible) requirements: originality, memorability and game-change factor. Once we began to whittle down our large list, we found that very few looks - no matter how much we loved them - fit these requirements.
