This week in celebrity news, we learned some pretty interesting and funny news from some of the most sexiest females in Hollywood right now.
Megan Fox sat down with Esquire magazine for the February issue and discussed her religious views. She candidly spoke about her Pentecostal upbringing in Tennessee and about her church where she said she began speaking in tongues at the tender age of eight. The actress admitted she has seen "magical, crazy things" happen in church. "I've seen people be healed. Even now, in the church I go to, during Praise and Worship I could feel that I was maybe getting ready to speak in tongues, and I'd have to shut it off because I don't know what that church would do if I started screaming out in tongues in the back."

Singer Brandy is engaged! The 33-year-old diva is engaged to her beau, Ryan Press, who she went public with last New Year's Eve. Brandy revealed the exciting news earlier this week while vacationing with her fiance in Hawaii. She and her music executive love, were pretty serious about the relationship before the engagement, even Brandy confessed to People magazine earlier this year that she would marry him with a bubblegum ring.
Remember the days when John Mayer was talked about on music networks and radio stations for being a talented musician that was able to perfectly blend pop/rock/blues music into one, creating his own unique sound by doing so? Songs such as “Your Body is a Wonderland,” “Waiting on the World to Change,” and “Daughters” garnered him more than just critical acclaim.
They also resulted in winning various prestigious awards musicians dream of winning (i.e. The Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2003,) developing a huge fan base, as well as being played on radio stations all across the nation. John Mayer’s name is still a topic of discussion, but for all the wrong reasons. Rather than people/critics talking about how innovative of a musician he is, he has been stricken with the Kardashian-itis: being talked about because of who he was seen kissing or what female celebrity was caught leaving his hotel room in the A.M.

Now with the help of Weight Watchers, Simpson will be their new spokeswoman! She plans on getting her body back on top after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew four weeks ago. Simpson reportedly gained around 40 pounds during her pregnancy and was candid about her cravings and strange occurances during her many TV appearances and magazine interviews.
Simpson plans on getting started with her new routine after she heals from her c-section and will focus on getting her body back to a healthy weight to where she feels comfortable. Simpson has revealed why she thinks the plan will work for her.
The finale of NBC's Fashion Star concluded a knock-out first season Tuesday night as 4.9 million viewers bit their nails in the anticipation of the first ever Fashion Star winner.
Kara Laricks came into the competition as an unlikely winner, as she started out designing ties, and truthfully, we didn’t even think she’d make it past the first round! But thanks to the fashion industry panel of judges (Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos, & Nicole Richie) Laricks was saved and ultimately stepped her game up, improving by leaps and bounds episode after first episode, and was finally pronounced the winner.
Today Jessica Simpson and hubby Eric Johnson welcomed a new a addition to their family.
In Los Angeles this morning, the singer/ designer gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson weighing 9 lbs. and 13 oz. This is the first child for the new and happy parents.
