Recently, Joonbug had the opportunity to chat with George Kotsiopoulos. He teamed up with Century 21 Department Stores, which has locations all over in Brooklyn, NYC and NJ to share the inside scoop on must-have holiday gifts for everyone on your list and fashion tips on looking party-ready this holiday season.

He is currently style editor at large for C magazine and formerly a fashion associate at The New York Times Magazine. Juicy Couture teamed up with author and fashion editor Melissa Magsaysay to fete the release of her new book City of Style: Exploring Los Angeles Fashion, from Bohemian to Rock. The curious pair may very well have been inspired by Juicy Couture’s affinity to fashion publications—the Madison Avenue store is stacked with similar collector-worthy editions of style-savvy reads acting as eclectic décor. The celebration boasted L.A. inspired tunes, snackable bites, and summer cocktails. Plus, the retailer offered a festive 20% off Juicy Couture merch to a crowd of loyal patrons. The bi-level store buzzed with shoppers taking full advantage of the lively summer collection, perusing the racks and lining up for their chance to meet Melissa as she signed each crisp edition.

The Glamour Girl
This floral romper is just the thing for the vixen in us all. Made of crinkled chiffon and satin, it is luxurious and airy, the perfect combination for hot summer evenings.
It’s no secret that rompers and jumpsuits have made their way on to the fashion scene and show no signs of disappearing any time soon. These pieces are a fashionable way to slip on something quick and stylish with little fuss. Some ladies are huge fans of the rompers, while others aren't quite sure how to rock them. But don't worry, there is a romper or jumpsuit out there for every shape and size! Take a look at our picks for jumpsuits suitable for your body type.
If you are lucky enough to have this body shape, check out this lovely plum jumpsuit from ASOS that will accentuate all your beautiful features with a strapless bodice and pleated detailing. The sweetheart neckline is also a very flattering for an hourglass shape and we just love the combination of the neckline, color and the cut on this romper. .
Graphic prints and patterns are always a great way to add some spunk to your style. They have been showing up on a multitude of frocks, from skater/snowboarder T’s, to denim, to chic dresses, and our current favorite, accessories. We are loving the look of the funky, graphic totes for summer and their ability to bring an outfit to life. With the bold statement that a bright, graphic bag makes, an otherwise plain outfit can really gain some great character. Mix them with other prints and patterns for a mad fad look, or go the simplistic route with black or white from head-to-toe, and they'll make a real pop on your ‘blank canvas’ ensemble.
Juicy Couture shows us just how much L.A. loves London with this season’s Fall 2012 collection. “Sunset Strip in the seventies meets London mod squad,” as described by Chief Creative Office LeAnn Nealz, inspired tried and true prints, sophisticated ready to wear, and a colorful palette—all alongside their usual fun-loving sportswear.
From business to extra-curricular, Juicy Couture has it covered this season. Sharp, tailored blazers are paired with sensible, colorblocked pencil skirts and semi-serious (due to their vibrant array of colors) cashmere v-neck sweaters. Graphic tees and sweatshirts—leopard in a jeweled collar? Yes, please!—kept the ready to wear from being all work and no play. Skinny jeans and leggings are right on trend for fall in coated metallic, leather inset, and lace paneled variations.
Trendy spins on the classic three-quarter sleeve blazer, sporty chic separates, and the energetic use of colors throughout the spectrum all contributed to thrilling debut of Juicy Couture’s Spring 2012 collection. A DayGlo rainbow sent bursts of color straight through our photoreceptors, all the more vibrant against the stark white backdrop. Models, fresh-faced with gravity defying curls, stood as stylishly clad statuettes atop multi-tiered pyramids throughout the Academy Mansion venue. Expertly navigating the crowd in crisp white uniforms and visors were the hunky Juicy men, fitting counterparts to the picture perfect Juicy ladies on display, serving abundant cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on neon Lucite trays.
Great style doesn't always have to cost an arm and a leg. Companies like H&M and TopShop have proven that! With a little research and patience, you can find the latest trends in quality materials at great prices.
Handbags are notoriously expensive. They're what we like to call "investment pieces." Normally you can expect to pay several hundred dollars (if not thousands) for a quality, designer handbag. But what about those who don't have the funds to drop 10 benjamins for one handbag? We have you covered! Our eyes are ALWAYS peeled for a great deal --because nothing is more satisfying than having a full closet AND a full bank account.
For the past several months, bed bugs have had New Yorkers throwing out furniture, avoiding movie theaters and even questioning the subway commute. Now they seem to have gone after the most famous velour sweatsuits in the world.
Juicy Couture CEO, Edgar Huber, announced yesterday that bed bugs were discovered at the Fifth Avenue location. The mega-sized, girly fashion flagship store, and largest Juice Couture store in the country, will be temporarily closed to exterminate.
