The Real Housewives of NYC season 3 finale was surprisingly boring last night.
First of all, the lunch between Bethenny and Jill was very predictable from the words exchanged to the tears shed. Hopefully they can work out their differences in the future because there is a small void in my life where their friendship used to be.
LuAnn's performance of her hit single (just kidding) "Money Can't Buy You Class" was ...um...yeah.
You've already seen her at our Halloween party at Espace earlier this year. But now Kelly Killoren Bensimon is back and ready for more action at Gustavino's on New Year's Eve. Don't let her drama-instigating role on Housewives mislead you: Bensimon is more intelligent, funny, and eloquent than you think, and she's not stopping anytime soon. Love her or hate her, you better get used to her. Joonbug was thrilled to get a chance to speak with her and find out more about her family, her work, and her unrelenting quest for quality.
Reality hits the runway for Fashion Week. Those women you love to hate, or hate to love on the oh-so-popular, over-dramatized reality shows, will be showcasing their lines under the tents at Bryant Park. Move over Gucci and Prada—fashion has a new wave of divas. And I do mean divas.
The show I am most anticipating is Whitney Port’s from The City. Her line, Whitney Eve, will make its debut this afternoon. Her inspiration: “Funderland.” E! Online reports she described it as “Alice in Wonderland goes to a really chic cocktail party.” Port is not the only one of her reality co-stars to start a fashion line, (Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag also have them), but she will be the first to show at Bryant Park.
