Despite its potentially excessive trendiness, the Meatpacking District is made for partying the night away. But, if you'd prefer to keep your stilettos off the cobble stoned streets, we've also included Chelsea hot-spots in this NYE party round-up:

Amidst Manhattan’s sizzling, high drama nightlife circuit lives Meatpacking’s premier ultra-lounge/club, Kiss and Fly. What's in a name? What is the most inherently understood, widely recognized form of communication that spans the entire globe? If you said mathematics, you are wrong. It’s dancing. Bee’s do it. Birds do it, too. Even if you're already enrolled in a zumba class with a friend, finding a great dance club is one of the best ways to relieve stress and have a great time meeting people. Consider these great dance spots next time you got that itch to bust a move.
Cielo, 18 Little W. 12th St. 212-645-5700
Intimate in size, this Meatpacking dance spot was built for dancing. The sunken dance floor means all the attention is on the dancer, surrounded by various genres of house music blasting through its outstanding sound system. The floor is framed with luxurious banquettes so you and your dance partner can take a break and get to know each other.
Dressed to kill, and smelling spectacular after a tour of the Sephora Sensorium, Joonbug headed over to Kiss & Fly for the Junior Society of Ballet Hispanico's fundraising event Dance Into Fashion. Stepping into the world of fantasy yet again as the doors to Kiss & Fly opened to reveal the decadent red soaked entrance. The thick red curtains spread open to welcome all the donors, dancers, and partygoers as we ventured into the dark meadow-like lounge.

A is For A-List
Last night I joined Johnathan Cheban, founder of Command PR and star of the newest E! series The Spin Crowd, at Kiss & Fly. Kiss & Fly ranks high on the scale of exclusivity, nestled in the Meatpacking district with red carpet and velvet rope entrances.
Inside, there are 28 VIP tables and a huge bar and dance floor, all of which were perfectly packed for this reality star. I showed up around midnight to find Joonbug's newest friend Wilson Henriques at the door, leading in his group of VIPs ahead of a crowd of office types and girls in their highest heels and shortest hemlines.
Joonbug will be hosting the New Year’s Eve 2011 celebration at Kiss & Fly! Kiss & Fly is one of New York’s hottest clubs and this New Year’s Eve party will help you soar into the New Year!
This New Year’s Eve Party will be hosted at Kiss & Fly’s 5,000 square foot, multi-tiered interior that is as glamorous as it is sumptuously chic. Kiss & Fly, named after a passenger drop-off at an airport in the South of France, is inspired by an over the top Roman amphitheater. Roman art is present through this night club, along with incredible chandeliers, and a mind-blowing ceiling that depicts a rendition of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.
Looking for something to do Sunday night? Look no further than Kiss & Fly for one of New York City's premier Memorial Day Parties. DJ David Berrie and Jacomino DJ are on music duty all night, and are sure to please.
For reduced admission, be sure to RSVP on Joonbug.com!
Born and raised in Jersey, Steve Powers knew at a young age that he wanted to pursue the entertainment and music culture that the Big Apple had to offer. In college, Steve's aspirations became a reality, as he quickly became the go-to emcee for spring break Acapulco. Today, Steve is one of the most sought after DJ's in the country, performing at the hottest nightclubs in NYC and all over the nation. His music defies the boundaries of any genre or style, which is perhaps why superstars such as Rihanna, Derek Jeter and Leonardo DiCaprio have enjoyed his performances. We were lucky enough to sit down with the man whose incredible energy is able to get anyone on the dance floor.
