There's a whole lotta lady around these days, and we aren't just talking about Lady Gaga. Lady Starlight, Lady Gaga's friend and opening act for the recently postponed Born This Way Ball tour, is having a one night only Lil Monsters Heavy Metal Disco show at The Gramercy Theatre this Saturday, February 23 at 11pm. Joining her for this fun rock 'n' roll cabaret are Breedlove, The Dirty Pearls, and Arianna & The Rose. Lady Starlight, is a unique DJ and performer in her own way. She mixes heavy rock and metal into her sets and is intent upon bringing it back to pop culture. We got to chat with the budding star about opening for Lady Gaga, her upcoming performance, and what's on tap for the future.
The most exciting news from across the pond this week has got to be the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant! Princess Kate is in her early stages of her pregnancy and was hospitalized for three-days for severe morning sickness. Her condition has many speculating that the duchess might be carrying twins, since this appears to affect mothers who carry twins more frequently than a mother carrying one baby. Her highness in not even 12-weeks apparently but the news has everyone in the media buzzing and celebs and dignitaries alike are sending their congradulatory messages to the happy couple.
Born and raised in New York, Lady Gaga, has been busy on tour but that's not stopping her from giving back to her beloved NYC. With that said, she has announced a donation of $1 million to Red Cross to give back to her community that was devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
Following a brief hiatus, pop princess Lady Gaga lends her vocals to Zedd's quickly popular single "Stache." The single comes following the announcement of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour which will also feature Lady Starlight and Madeon, making two very special stops in downtown Brooklyn's new entertainment mecca, Barclays Center. Those two exclusive performances will host German EDM giant Zedd, whom Gaga described in a tweet last August as having a "major musical boner" for.
If you're not familiar with Zedd, you may wanna jot this down because he's basically the new big thing. His debut LP 'Clarity' (Interscope) just dropped a couple days ago and is already garnering rave reviews among the blogosphere and media outlets alike. Just three years of producing under his belt, the talented young musicican insists that he doesn't want people calling it that, and with the new album he would rather focus on the 'M in EDM' stating "For my album I had a vision to make something that is timeless and you can listen to 20 years from now."
The18-year-old prodigy Madeon has just sparked attention with the announcement that he will be joining Lady Gaga on her "Born This Way Ball" tour.
Starting in January, the tour will kick off in Vancouver with the French DJ/producer accompanying Mother Monster on 17 of the North American dates as the main supporting act. The young talent has quickly risen to high ranks as a progressive house producer with hits like "Finale" and a new single, "The City," set to be released on Oct. 8th.
According to Gaga's website, the tour will also feature ZEDD as a supporting act. The German DJ/producer has gained immense notable talk in the EDM world for his smash hit, "Spectrum," which has received a slew of remixes. ZEDD is set to go on the last eight tour dates.

The September issue, the most important edition for Vogue, has covergirl Lady Gaga donning a gorgeous Marc Jacobs fishtail gown along with hair that is as wild as ever.
Channeling Ru Paul, Gaga looks her fashionable self, tweeting to fans: “Who else sees me channeling @RuPaul on the COVER of VOGUE. If only I was as fierce as you b*tch. I did try to come for you with that weave,” People Magazine reported.
The issue hits news stands August 21st!
After weeks of speculation the news is finally in!
Fox's American Idol judge, Steven Tyler, has made the official announcement that he will not be returning for the new season. Quickly after Jennifer Lopez released a "maybe I will, maybe I won't return" statement, audiences are wondering if the songstress will be following in Tyler's footsteps and departing from from the glorified singing competition.
But do not fret Joonbuggers, such is life. Out with the old and in with the new!
What sets the American Idol panel apart from other singing competitions is its consistency in choosing musically relative judges year after year. That being said we would not want to tamper with the formula of success. We have a few suggestions for AI's producer Nigel Lythogoe on who we would want to see in the judge's chair come next season.
Lady Gaga suffered a concussion while performing over the weekend in New Zealand when one of her backup dancers accidentally struck her in the head with a pole. Thanks to her handy lipsyncing Gaga didn't skip a beat as she continued "singing" without interruption while stumbling off stage. She later returned to the stage to "sing" sixteen additional songs and according to Rolling Stone she told the crowd, "I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don't you worry I will finish this show."
