Celebrate May Day with Sausage & Suds

Loreley Restaurant & Biergarten is at it again this season and will be celebrating May Day on April 28th. They will be kicking off beer garden season with Tanz in Den Mai (dance into May) festivities. There will be special spring beers and sausage platters available from April 28th to May 3rd during Loreley's 9th Annual Sausage Fest. But let's stick to what's going down on May Day.

Schnitzelfest is Right Around the Corner

Get your hot schnitzels at Loreley Restaurant & Biergarten's first annual Schnitzelfest, a six day celebration from November 5-10th. Don't be too quick to don your German gear though, these schnitzels will be taking you on a world tour, with influence from Japan, Switzerland, France, and more. Chef Torsten Ziebold has created a special menu just for the event, containing 11 different schnitzels. There will be two vegetarian options, along with other creative interpretations of the beloved dish. Prices will range from $16-$18 for these hot commodities.

Oktoberfest at Loreley Williamsburg

Celebrate the start of Oktoberfest with an awesome kick-off party at Loreley Williamburg September 17th (3pm). Supporting Munich tradition, Brooklyn Borough Preseident Marty Markowitz will tap a (free) keg of HB Oktoberfest beer and guests will receive one free half-liter mug of beer until it runs out. Talk about a party!

Soak up some of that beer with some traditional spanferkel ($19), a suckling roasted pig, accompanied by mashed potatoes and red cabbage. There will also be nine different types of sausage and platters will be available with 3, 5, 7, or 9 varieties ($16-$33). DJ Volka Racho will be spinning tunes for your enjoyment, as well.
