The brother/best-friend trio from New York is starting the weekend the right way with a big Friday night show at Pacha. Whether it's one of their amazing original releases, like 'Overtime' and 'Take Me Home,' or any of the incredible remixes they've done for big names like Bruno Mars, Hardwell, and Krewella, if you've heard anything from Cash Cash, you know that seeing them perform will be money well spent. General admission tickets start at $25, but if you RSVP ahead of time, entry is free until 12 A.M. Doors open at 10 P.M. for ladies 19 and older, guys 21+.
Can you tell us about some of the parties/venues that shaped you as an artist and a performer?
Diego Camejo: The first venue I started DJing at consistently was Mokai. Being the resident here has taught me so much. Because it is a small boutique club, it is naturally a very intimate setting. It is a venue where people are not necessarily going to focus on the DJs performance; they’re their to have a good time, which makes it more difficult as a DJ to craft a set that gets people’s attention.
Following a brief hiatus, pop princess Lady Gaga lends her vocals to Zedd's quickly popular single "Stache." The single comes following the announcement of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour which will also feature Lady Starlight and Madeon, making two very special stops in downtown Brooklyn's new entertainment mecca, Barclays Center. Those two exclusive performances will host German EDM giant Zedd, whom Gaga described in a tweet last August as having a "major musical boner" for.
If you're not familiar with Zedd, you may wanna jot this down because he's basically the new big thing. His debut LP 'Clarity' (Interscope) just dropped a couple days ago and is already garnering rave reviews among the blogosphere and media outlets alike. Just three years of producing under his belt, the talented young musicican insists that he doesn't want people calling it that, and with the new album he would rather focus on the 'M in EDM' stating "For my album I had a vision to make something that is timeless and you can listen to 20 years from now."
We are all guilty of having a case of the Monday's every once in a while. When your gearing up for the weekend ahead, it's best to accompany those thoughts with some energetic tunes. This week's playlist is compiled of huge dance tracks (old and new) that will make your week just a little bit better.
1. Ellie Goulding-I Need Your Love (Feat. Calvin Harris): This track is just destined to be a club anthem for the coming year. Harris' mellifluous producing skills shine alongside Gouldings vocals. The release date is set for the US soon!
2. Martin Solveig- The Night Out (Madeon Remix): Anything Madeon touches is just pure music bliss. At such a young age, he has proved to be a bulldozing force in the EDM world and has done it with such ease.
The18-year-old prodigy Madeon has just sparked attention with the announcement that he will be joining Lady Gaga on her "Born This Way Ball" tour.
Starting in January, the tour will kick off in Vancouver with the French DJ/producer accompanying Mother Monster on 17 of the North American dates as the main supporting act. The young talent has quickly risen to high ranks as a progressive house producer with hits like "Finale" and a new single, "The City," set to be released on Oct. 8th.
According to Gaga's website, the tour will also feature ZEDD as a supporting act. The German DJ/producer has gained immense notable talk in the EDM world for his smash hit, "Spectrum," which has received a slew of remixes. ZEDD is set to go on the last eight tour dates.

Another year, another Identity Festival in the books for New Yorkers. This past weekend, thousands of EDM enthusiasts from all over the tri-state area packed out the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York, to capacity, for a full day and night of colorful neon clothing, dancing, raging, and of course the non-stop booming beats from some very talented EDM artists. This year, the festival had quickly sold out, making it a highly anticipated event for all those attending. The 2012 New York line-up was packed with some highly sought after talent including headliner Eric Prydz, Arty, Madeon, Showtek, Eva Simons, and Noisia, among a list of others.
The New York Identity Festival is just around the corner, and with all the talented acts slated in the lineup this year, it’s going to be hard not to have a great time. The festival at Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, is showcasing some major DJs/producers and singers, resulting in one of the only locations to sell out completely so quickly. If you’re getting ready to dance your pants off this weekend at the festival, here are five acts to look out for:
For the past ten years, Eric Prydz has been a name you simply cannot ignore when it comes to dance music. The Grammy-nominated Swedish musical genius, also known under his Cirez D alias among others, is the mastermind behind some of the most well-known dance tracks including “Pjanoo," “Call On Me," “In and Out," ”2night," the more recent “Allein.” And we can't forget “Proper Education," a renowned song featuring a sample from Pink Floyd. He has collaborated with and remixed for a number of distinguished artists in EDM including Steve Angello, Calvin Harris, Digitalsim, and Depeche Mode, while running his two labels Pryda and Mouseville. This year Prydz released his “Eric Prydz Presents Pryda” album featuring 37 amazing house tracks from the Pryda catalogue mixed by Eric. The album includes his most recent hit “Allein," which has been supported by the biggest names in EDM. As the headliner for Identity this year, you can expect to hear a set that is sure to rock the house.
