Summer. Is. Here! It's pool party, beach and sun-bathing time. And you know what that means - swimsuits! Sure, some dread the 'ol swimsuit, especially when we're all still a little pasty white here on the East coast. (Self-tanner, anyone?) But the arrival of the swimsuit is synonymous with the arrival of warm weather and that's something to celebrate! We almost forgot what it felt like to bikini shop. We also didn't bother to look into what was 'in' for swimwear this season -mostly out of bitterness.
Trends this season include super string bikinis, hardware, cut-outs (again), animal prints and shiny/metallic styles. While reading through the list, one realizes these aren't really trends. Summer is desperately trying to move forward. However, stubborn Winter doesn't seem to want to let go. The seasons are turning into the climate equivalent of a relationship gone awry.
