Who Did Miley Share Her New Year's Kiss With?

The burden of finding someone to lock lips with once the ball drops becomes a real struggle for most singles this time of the year. With that being said, who did Miley Cyrus choose to share her New Year's kiss with? Was it Twilight star, Kellan Lutz, her rumored to-be boyfriend? Or was it supermodel Cara Delevingne who she locked lips with before on camera? Could it quite possibly be ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth who she chose to shock the world with again?

Well, unless you're living under a rock, you'll know that the third choice isn't even much of an option.

Miley shared her New Year's smooch with none other than E! host, Ryan Seacrest at midnight. Yep, it's true. Seacrest hosted the 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest' special where Miley performed her hit singles for the New Year's crowd in Times Square.

SantaCon is upon us!

SantaCon is more than just dressing up in Christmas attire and getting wasted (even though that's the best part of it). In most cities, like New York, SantaCon is affiliated with charitable good works and donations. In 2011, Santacon New York raised $10,000 for Toys for Tots and donated over 6,000 pounds of food to Manhattan and Brooklyn food banks. SantaCon reminds us to have a good time and celebrate the season, but also to spread cheer and goodwill.

New Years Eve in NYC Times Square

When the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve, the most exciting place to be is New York’s Times Square. There is no better way to ring in the New Year than watching the ball drop live amongst one million people in the heart of New York City.

The New Year’s Time Square tradition dates back to 1904. Beginning as a celebration of The New York Times, the owner, Adolph Ochs, put together a fabulous street-festival which included fireworks to celebrate the new home of the publication. Over the years, this festivity has evolved resulting in Times Square now being the ultimate place to celebrate the New Year in NYC.

Get Your New Year’s Eve On: Part 1

Many people will tell you they don’t like fennel because they associate it with the taste of licorice candy. However, this salad will surprise everyone at how refreshing and well blended the flavors are. It’s could be because the fennel is sliced thinly and meshes well with the parsley and the white-wine vinegar. Please note that the original recipe called for pine nuts but if you are in doubt about any nut allergies, leave them out.

The only change made from the original was eliminating salt. The original recipe can be found at What’s Cooking America.

O'Neal McKnight: Round 2

We here at joonbug have a deep appreciation for musicians who play at our parties. If it wasn’t for them, our parties would just be a bunch of people standing around staring at each other like a bad high school reunion. Who wants to party like that?

Nevertheless, we hold a special place on our website for people like O’neal Mcknight. Musician, stylist, and overall great person, O’neal is always ready to bring a positive attitude to everything he puts his mind to. His career is quickly rising to an astronomical level and I was privileged to conduct a follow-up to his Halloween interview to ask him questions about his thoughts on where he’s come from and what to expect for the coming year.
