NYC's Hottest Hotels for Nightlife

1. The Hudson Hotel (356 W. 58th Street)- For starters, the Hudson has two venues within its walls which appeal to every type of party-goer. The first spot, Hudson Common, offers drinks and dining in a casual atmosphere with upbeat, hit music being played the entire time. With enough room to dance in the dining room and comfy couches by their decorative fireplace, you’re free to do as you choose in this wide, spacious room. Directly across the hall is their liquor bar, Henry. While Hudson Common has a sort of “create your own” dance floor, Henry has spots cleared throughout the area for guests to get down while they drink — and it looks like table service is on the menu! By ordering a bottle, you receive house-made sodas on the side to mix with your liquor, or you can try one of their signature cocktails. While this site is a little more upscale, there’s no reason to hold back and feel uncomfortable while having a good time.

NYC's First Cupcake ATM

Inspired by the unpredictable cravings of a pregnant woman, the Cupcake ATM can dispense up to four cupcakes at one time, including doggie cupcakes (which are sugar free and made with yogurt, so they’re pup friendly!), being sold at 2 for $5. The touch screen system allows you to make selections like a bank ATM would, and a claw retrieves the one you want, stored in an adorable brown and pink cardboard box.

The machine holds an incredible 760 cupcakes, with 20 different varieties that, yes, do include vegan red velvet. It is restocked at all hours by Sprinkles' employees, who bake the goods round the clock for guaranteed freshness. And if cupcakes aren’t your treat of choice, no worries: Sprinkles hopes to add the options for brownies and cookies by the end of next month.

Another Year In The Biz

For over a decade, Biz Martinez has put together some of Miami's most memorable parties. This Thursday, South Beach's crowned jewel, LIV nightclub, prepares to celebrate the birthday of its music director, with the aid of Dutch superstar Nicky Romero, for the second year in a row.

Opening the show is producer Don Diablo - you may know him from his 2012 hit record "Light's Out" featuring Angela Hunte, and his work as an ambassador for Dance4Life. He's been making bounds in the music world since and we couldn't imagine a better act to lead us into Romero's signature high-octane and unpredictable sets. We're curious to hear what the Dutch powerhouse have in store for us, whether its full-throttle electro or some of the tech-ier sounds they've explored in the past.
