HOW-TO
Electrifying Cocktails at Electric Room

The Electric Room at the Dream Downtown was a major hit during New York Fashion Week, with high class after parties for noted designers such as Prabal Gurung, Ally Hilfiger's NAHM, and Time Weiland. Nur Khan's venue also hosted concerts by Guns N' Roses and The Kills. Celebrities and socialites alike flock to this downtown haven, including big name Olivia Palermo, Kellan Lutz, David Arquette, Nicky Hilton, Rose McGowan and more. What brought the celebs out to play besides the concerts and fashion forward events? The booze!

Open to the public yesterday, March 22, Kenmare displays the culinary workings of the previous Little Owl chef, Joey Campanaro. There is a lot of buzz swirling around Kenmare being that it resides in the old Civetta space. The owners are Nur Khan and Paul Sevigny, formerly of The Beatrice Inn. This time around their cool Nolita spot will feature the food as the primary draw, whereas in the past the food was somewhat overlooked.

Sevigny, Khan, and Campanaro Present Kenmare

Kenmare

After months and months of wild speculation following the much moaned over demise of the inimitable Beatrice Inn, Paul Sevigny has finally unveiled Kenmare, his latest entry into the New York nightlife race. And that is the last bad horse joke in this piece, promise. This time around Sevigny has joined forces with Little Owl chef Joey Campanaro to provide a menu of suitably tasty, presumably New American cuisine and harnessed the inspiration of Nur Khan, the man behind the utterly erstklassig lounge known as Rose Bar. Sounds exciting, no?
