Brooklyn's Jackpot, Tiger release new single, "Caught In Love"

From a simple folk inspired group to the danceable indie rock band they are now, Jackpot, Tiger never shied away from the pop label. Their music is now saturated with catchy hooks, infectious melodies and is known to start a sing along, dance party.

The Brooklyn based foursome released their anticiapted first single, "Caught In Love," off their sophomore, self-titled record due to be released this summer. The track, proudly dubbed as "bubblegum pop" has all the ingredients of a pop hit-- a seriously catchy chrous, a clap along beat, and it tells the story of falling in love.

Interview: Spencer Sutherland

Another thing that gets Spencer excited? Fans. Known for interacting regularly with his fans via Twitter (and even acknowledging them by name when meeting in person), Spencer is ecstatic when he is recognized by fans out in public. From “mind blowing” brushes with a mob of girls to having a fan show him a picture of his house (a moment that would scare many, but sent Spencer into laughter), he appreciates the outpouring love and support for him and his music. “It’s so cool to make people happy.”

Style Star: Ariana Grande!
Review: Katy Perry's, Prism

Katy Perry’s 4th LP, Prism, has big shoes to fill in the wake of her 2010 hit album, Teenage Dream, and the eclectic grouping of songs (and probable hits) is definitely up to the challenge.

With the first single “Roar”, roaring onto the charts and airwaves with it’s empowering message, Prism became an early anticapited fall release. Not one to disappoint, the album boasts other standout singles, such as the previously previewed “Dark Horse” and “Unconditionally,” but those aren’t the only tracks capturing attention and solidifying Perry as a true pop star.

Review: Miley Cyrus, Bangerz

The highly anticipated Miley Cyrus album, Bangerz, comes out tomorrow, October 8, and Smilers all over the world are greatly excited to see what the passion project holds. There is no doubt Cyrus is all grown up--and for those who watched her MTV documentary, we also know she is hoping to start fresh as a new artist, with no recall of Hannah Montanna.

You win, Miley: you have everyone’s attention.

Angelica Salem: Rising Teen Pop Star

Angelica Salem is not your average 19-year-old girl. She is not only a recording artist, but also a current freshman student at Pace University. The upcoming pop sensation is majoring in commercial dance while preparing to debut her EP set for a release in late Spring. Last year, Angelica released We Rock the World, that attracted the ear of Andy Hilfiger as he was launching his line Andrew Charles. She was invited to perform at the collection unveiling. Angelica is currently working with some top-level producers such as Jump Smokers and Jerry Wonder, who you might recognize from working with big names like Akon, Justin Beiber, and Mary J. Blige. It's safe to say we can expect big things from this young lady! Luckily, Joonbug was able to snag an interview before she becomes too busy!

Lucas Field's Debut Album 'Conquest of Happiness' A Huge Success

With “Conquest of Happiness,” Lucas Field (formerly of Low Vs. Diamond), has done what many front men have tried to do and made lackluster effort with: successfully put out a well structured album on his own without the band he’s known for.

The electric piano is a prominent instrument in almost every song and compliments Field’s voice immensely. “Conquest of Happiness” is a unique blend of R&B, pop and a little indie rock. More refreshingly however, this album manages to keep the sound consistent but still give each track a little special something to avoid every song sounding the same.

Justin Timberlake Talks Britney in Latest Interview

Justin Timberlake, one of the most successssful stars working in showbiz, is almost equally famous for his intriguing personal life; along with his credentials as recording artist, actor, entrepreneur, constant SNL visitor...you get the picture.

It comes as no surprise that during an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, the subject of his past relationships is brought up. This is an especially touchy issue since Timberlake's four-year relationship with actress Jessica Biel just ended in March.

Then again, the interview quickly turns focuses on another memorable ex: none other than pop princess Britney Spears. It seems just like yesterday...the royal couple of MTV conquered not only the music charts, but the tabloid magazines as well. It was similar to watching Ken & Barbie in real life. Now it is nothing but a memory (tear), after cheating allegations caused the infamously bitter break-up.
