Known for its colossal roster of quality talent, the Circle Talent Agency kicked off Miami Music Week with a splash at their poolside showcase! Touting a star-studded lineup featuring Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, and Datsik, the showcase invited dubstep lovers to bask in the sun while watching their favorite artists flex their bass-heavy muscles. And although anchored by the agency’s superstar turntablists, it was rising stars Lucky Date and Carnage who truly stole the show(case).
It's just about that time to start the official countdown to Miami Music Week. It's less than a month away and popular UK label, Cr2 has released their annual "Live & Direct" Miami compilation, a three disc treat featuring separate mini-mixes from MYNC, R3hab, and Nari & Milani. These three teaser's will get you in the mood to break it down once MMW descends upon us. So leave your worries behind and let the music take over. Listen to the mixes below and you can purchase them here!
3. Live & Direct - Miami 2013 | Disc 3: Nari & Milani (Teaser Mix): The Italian production duo leaves a mark as they drop "Atom"-ic bombs showcasing their Italian roots with tracks like Pink Is Punk and Benny Benassi's collab "Perfect Storm."
Inching their way closer and closer to our loyal dance music hearts is the music festival. Seeing them live is the ultimate experience, however, there's a new fest in town earning a lot of chatter in the digital music world. On February 12th-14th, Mixify.com will be hosting its largest event to date when RISE Digital Music Festival hits the digital stage.
Mixify is bringing in top headliners for the festival which include high-energy bass commanders Knife Party, Dutch house sensation R3HAB and rising trance superstar, Tritonal. Also featured is an ultra-heavy roster of rising stars such as Russian phenom Arty, the internationally acclaimed Deniz Koyu, versatile fan favorite Carnage, Swedish talent Adrian Lux, and Billboard’s ‘One To Watch’ Danny Avila. They will be performing alongside Rob Garza of futuristic electronica group Thievery Corporation, BBC Radio 1’s own DJ Nihal, and dance-pop producers The Cataracs.
The first act at the main stage was Demetrius who laid down his usual dutch house sounds. The young star was soon joined on stage by surprise superstar producer, guest, and father, Timbaland. Although we enjoyed the surprise visit, MC shout outs don’t mesh well with the natural flow of electronic music and by the end of his blabber we were ready for more tunes.

After a long day at the festival on Friday, and a few stints downtown to catch the after-parties, I found my self surprisingly upbeat, energetic, and overall ready for what Saturday would bring.
More days than others, it seems like we're looking for some nostalgia from music festivals past only to get us in gear for music festivals present. Sometimes there are no words to describe our experiences, however, thankfully we have the live sets to bring us back to those moments. We've rounded up 10 amazing live sets from a solid group of DJ's that produce unforgettable sets and will most definately never get old. Listen, love, and enjoy!

Once a standard college soiree with basic paint splatters and decent musical talent put on by Committee Entertainment, Dayglow served its purpose of entertaining attendees for a night of color-splashing on the dance-floor. But six years later and a new monkier, the event has grown into a world-wide phenomenon that attracts more than 500,000 people per year. With the most sought after DJs in the industry behind the decks and intensely high theatrical production, Life in Color has transformed into a highly in demand electronic event and, with the help of Sillerman, will only continue to flourish.
