It's no doubt that electronic music has caught the attention of the masses. Since the recent explosion of the genre in 2011, it seems that just about everyone has embraced it. Whether its 'deep house' to 'tropical trap rap' to 'moombahton' the genres continue to expand with a now more than ever diverse roster of seriously mind bending choices. We rounded up a mix of twelve songs that are worthy of so much play time it's ri-dic-u-lous.
Established in 2009, JetBlue Airways has teamed up with music marketing gurus, Superfly Marketing Group, to produce and ongoing series of concerts inside their $800M, state-of-the-art Terminal 5. The Live from T5 concert series has housed international artists including James Blunt, Sarah McLachlan, and Taylor Swift, to name a few.
On Monday, June 20th, the re-birthed, international pop star, Robyn, will grace the stage of T5 to help kick off the summer. To win tickets to the event click here, choose any of the four blogging sites listed, and follow the directions.
Avicii burst into the house music scene in 2009 when he was dubbed "breakthough DJ/producer" by Dj Tiesto, Laidback Luke, and Dirty South in interviews on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs site. Since then Avicii has become an international sensation with hit singles like "Bromance," "Bom," and "Jailbait." Gaining even more momentum, he has collaborated with the likes of eletronic music heavyweights Tiesto, Bob Sinclair, David Guetta, and Robyn.
Robyn's new single has a lot of Jamaican influences as you can hear in the riddim. This song is co-directed by Diplo, Red Foxx and Pomp&Clout.
As a fan of Jamaican music, I always pay attention to Diplo's work. This guy has a great feeling with reggae music and transform it to something of his own. Remember he was one of the two guys who are responsible of the Major Lazer project.
You can also see that the Swedish singer still admires the Japanese culture (remember her former single called Konichiwa Bitches).
The new album "Body Talk" is out now. Robyn is on tour.
The little electro-pop princess is back with a new record and a usual promotion tour. Your probably have heard of Robyn in the previous singles such as "konichiwa bitches" (great name), and "With Every Heartbeat" (great song). Robyn has a great artistic sense that can been noticed in her music and her videos.
Get your tickets, a blonde wig, and get ready for a great show.
Robyn will perform at The Warfield on November 23 at 7.00 PM
