Ok, free things are lucky, but we said this is the the luckiest 13th, and here's why: The Jillionaire and Walshy Fire will be DJ-ing the event.
The lunch party is free, however, if you can, take those couple of bucks you would'a spent on lunch and donate them to the on-site reps of the Food Bank for NYC--just $1 will feed five New Yorkers in need.
Tomorrow, join us for lunch and dancing, and take back a great story to your office (or class). Remember to RSVP, since that's the only way to reveal the location!!
RSVP restaurant revamps for fall with an impressive, jam-packed list of special events in addition to a haute food and drink menu just in time for dining season.
Restaurateur, Jon Bakhshis', first high-end spot, perfectly perched in hip Soho launched over the summer to raves from pre-clubbers for its obvious group dining appeal. The modern American restaurant, is ideally situated and designed to appeal to “the scene” featuring a sunken dining room with a striking crystal chandelier centerpiece, a large wrap around bar (ideal for light bites and bevys) and banquettes that allow for comfy, couple-friendly seating.

Jon Bakhshi has formally introduced New York to RSVP, his first high-end fine dining haven in SoHo. Suited for the formal occasion, guests filed in to the intimately sized space immediately welcomed by an ample cocktail bar.
RSVP patrons won’t just think exclusivity, they’ll experience it.
A tiered dinning balcony surrounds a sunken event space with its own entrance with an immense crystal chandelier that hangs over head. The light darts and dances between round mirrors that line the walls, giving you the true sense of an upscale underground club.
RSVP debuted June 7th, and is the first high-end fine dining restaurant created by hospitality expert, Jon Bakhshi. This SoHo eatery will serve signature modern-American fare with an interpretative twist. Chef Seth Levin prepares dishes such as prosciutto and figs brulee, truffle artichoke pizza, and an array of seafood from the RSVP raw bar. After dinner the space transforms into a sophisticated lounge where guests can sip craft cocktails in the sunken dining room with crystal chandeliers as centerpieces.

Trend, mend, and spend for this up coming weekend! This Sunday, April 10 at The Metreon, will be the event that shall not be missed! Ladies and gentlemen, please sure to RSVP before Sunday, to get your discount. Yes, yes, of course there is a fee to enter, but is well worth it and well worth the wait to rack up that closet full of goodies from local designers! Perfect timing for a little spring cleaning from that closet could help, when loading in all those new treasures from this Thread show!
This is not the normal wine and cheese tasting. There will be no disposable tray of stale cheese with last week’s wine to wash it down. The Wine Connextion, located in North Andover, MA, has taken their new October campaign wine sampling to the next level with “S3” (Saturday Sampling Series).
First of all, the Wine Connextion wants their customers to be interactive in the store’s wine purchasing process. Now this is not something you can put on your resume but on sampling days, new wines will be presented and the customer’s feedback dictates what makes it on the shelf. What can you the customer look forward to during the Saturday Sampling Series? Try some of the newest wine on the market, the most incredible deals in the state and, because you shouldn’t drink on an empty stomach, guest will also sample some wonderful haute bites from restaurants such as Phat Cats Bistro, 15 Walnut, Glory Restaurant and past contender for The Next Food Network Star, Tom Grella.
It’s already shaping up to be quite an upwardly eventful year for the indie-psychedelic quintet Dr. Dog. They recently found their way onto the roster at Anti records and have a new album, Shame, Shame, coming out on April 6. In the meantime, the Philly-based group will be touring the U.S. (with a brief border cross-over into Canada) on a 39 stop venture between now and mid May with more dates to be added in the coming months. It would be likely that some of these added performances would include appearances at some of the many spring and summer festivals happening this year and various guest spots on late night talk shows (they’ve held a spot on Conan O’Brien in support of their last two albums, though with the ongoing NBC scheduling fiasco they may not make it on the show for a third round).
