The Do LaB’s Lightning in a Bottle Music and Arts Festival has quickly become one of the most sought after events in the country. For the past 8 years they have worked tirelessly to defy any previous conception of the modern gathering. Now, with utmost experience and knowledge of the industry, Lightning in a Bottle pushes into its most impressive showing to date .
This year’s lineup includes a slew of genre-defying electronic headliners like Nicolas Jaar, Rusko, Paper Diamond, Tycho, Griz, and PantyRaid. These pioneers of their craft will take on the awe inspiring landscape of the Lighting in a Bottle’s new lakeside location on Skinner Lake in Temecula, CA on July 11th through 15th.
The English DJ/Producer recently announced he'll be releasing all original music free from now on. He released the following statement:
"The natural thing for me to do is release “KAPOW” myself. How I want. The way I want and at the speed I want. It's about promotion and not profit - I want to give the fans the music in real time. If they can help me promote it too then it's essentially what a label does anyway but just without copyright restrictions. The fans are key in the success of “KAPOW.” If you like it, send it to a friend. I just want everyone to be able have my music if they want it."
Is this the future of the music industry? What do you think?
Be sure to catch RUSKO at a city near you this month:

Ten miles of darkness and 2000 cars separated us from the festival we had only dreamt about. As we stared forward, excited and anxious, there was a faint flicker towards the sky and then the familiar explosion of fireworks in the distance. A roar ripped through the desert from the cars around us. Indian chiefs and their topless girlfriends yelled and cheered out their windows, as packs of neon spattered fur boots ran by on foot. This was the scene I had heard so much about. The one that would save dance music events

It has barely been a year since Rusko rattled Terminal 5‘s walls with his explosive dubstep masterpieces, but the English producer is returning to the big apple this summer to serve up another hearty helping of bass to the face.
That’s right dubstep fans, Rusko will be at Terminal 5 on May 13th, once again infecting the crowd with his wobbling and womping breakdowns!
The stop is part of his three-month-long spring tour which spans America from coast to coast, and even dips in to the Great White North for a few nights.
