Ryan Star Brings 'Angels + Animals' to NYC's Bowery Ballroom

Rock and roll singer-songwriter, Ryan Star went back to his roots (a native Long Islander) for his album release show at NYC’s famed Bowery Ballroom. The intimate crowd filled with excited fans and impressed media helped Star celebrate the release of his new album, Angels + Animals.

Crowned the “Alternative Frank Ocean” by Paper Magazine, Star tells the story of love and loss on his new collection of songs. His passion shines bright in a live setting and his impressive comparison seems more “severely alternative” as he shouts, in a compelling fashion, throughout most of his songs. His raspy rock and roll voice carries trough any venue and holds the audience captive.

RYAN STAR
11:59, It's About Time

Finally! After many months of crossed fingers, Ryan Star’s new album is here. Fans of this rock-Star have been waiting for these tracks for a while. Released on August 10th, the anticipated album delivers. Reminiscent of popular rock artists such as David Cook and Daughtry, Star backs up his lyrics with a gravely, raspy voice--a marriage of musical perfection.

The album contains tracks featured on both TV and in movies. “Brand New Day” is the theme song for the popular FOX crime-drama, Lie To Me and “Last Train Home” was featured in Warner Bros. 2007 release, P.S. I Love You.
