Fashion Week Happenings: Exclusive Preview of Midtown's Newest Restaurant Tender at Charlotte Ronson's NYFW After Party

Already equipped with a rooftop restaurant called Haven, that serves up french cuisine, The Sanctuary Hotel will soon open Tender, a new restaurant and lounge designed by Josh Held and owned by Hank Freid and Brandon Freid, this March.

On Friday, February 7th, we got a sneak peak of the new space while sipping Voga cocktails and mingling with stars at the Charlotte Ronson's NYFW after party.

Once we walked through the entranceway in back of the front bar, we immediately found ourselves in the spacious restaurant that featured 2 seperate bars and plenty of seating. It made for the perfect setting for a fashion week after party! And whats an after party without some celebs? Natalia Kills, Jesse Metcalfe, Joe Jonas, Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted and Mariska Hargitay all joined the party that night!

Haven Rooftop Ski Chalet Unveiled!

Looking to add a little pizazz to your midtown drinking adventures? Look no further. The Haven Rooftop Ski Chalet at the fabulous Sanctuary Hotel is a little kitschy, a little heavy on the European clientele, and a whole lot of fun.

Who doesn’t love an atmosphere where fur clad servers will occasionally walk around with a giant ski that holds four shot glasses, with the promise of the warm, comforting feeling that only Fireball Whiskey can provide? For the whiskey adverse, there are delicious holiday-inspired cocktails, like our favorite, the Apple Sauced (Stoli Apple, Cayrum, Apple Sauce, Simple Syrup, and Caramel) which is sure to appeal to the sweet tooth in us all.

Looking Ahead: Haven Rooftop Ski Chalet at the Sanctuary Hotel

Tired of cramming into dinghy dive bars or crowded restaurants where you are so close to your neighbor that you accidentally reach for their water glass? Are you stressed because two little snowflakes dismantled your train’s ability to function AT ALL? Have you managed to sweat through all 8 layers of clothes because while it is freezing outside, it is 4 million degrees in the subway? Would you like to occasionally see the sky this winter?

We’ve all been there. Seasonal allergy depression is real, and it’s coming to a bar near you. Why do New Yorkers drink so much? It’s because the tall buildings block out whatever small percentage of sunlight peeks through the winter clouds from November through March.

Haven: The New Rooftop Lounge in Times Square

New York tourists, commuters, and residents alike can all agree that Times Square’s appeal is undeniable. They can also agree that it has lacked an outdoor refuge to enjoy it from- until now. Haven, located atop the Sanctuary Hotel, offers 2,500 square feet of outdoorsy yet modern bliss. Guests can enjoy an array of tropical cocktails in the $15 range. One that sounds particularly inviting to us is the Starlight, consisting of Grey Goose Le Citron vodka, fresh kiwi, and vanilla bean. Once in full swing, Haven will also offer a food menu for patrons to enjoy. Take a look at the pictures, we absolutely love the lounge’s décor!
