Rihanna sings about how whips and chains excite her, Ana Steele finds herself excitingly intrigued by her darker desires, and well Christian Grey, we know all about his secret erotic fantasies. S&M hasn’t always shown its gag-ball filled mouth to mainstream society through pop culture but with the success of E. L. James’ “mommy porn” trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey, the taboo subject has left sex shops and entered our headphones, libraries, and our bedrooms.
If you’ve been left wondering what the big fuss about Mr. Grey’s sexual habits are after reading the trilogy or are just plain curious as to what S&M is outside a paperback novel, look no further than Union Square. On Monday June 16th at their 50 Shades of Seduction event. This 21+ event will give you your own personal glimpse into the real life bedroom of Mr. Grey through an instructional 45-minute S&M class taught by “sexpert” Mistress Gia while you sip a complimentary cocktail inspired by the addictive trilogy, the Grey-tini.
Just last week we were all hearing rumors of a Chris Brown and Rihanna reconciliation. Although they may have been in a "wild love triangle," it appears that Rihanna's got herself a new boy toy: Ashton Kutcher!
It’s no secret Rihanna and Ashton Kutcher have both been through very public messy break ups in the past, but who saw this coming?!
On Tuesday night, Rihanna was photographed by paparazzi getting twisted inside Colony nightclub in Los Angeles. Rih was having a good time with her girl when, she received a text from Ashton Kutcher. Rih IMMEDIATELY left the club at around 12:00, leaving her friend's behind. She then made her way to ASHTON KUTCHER'S house where she was spotted by the paps again! According to TMZ she stayed until 4:00am.
Coincidentally, this late night booty call happened just a day before Chris Brown shared 'Heartbreak' on Twitter— possibly about a Rihanna split! But don't feel too bad for Chris, he's got plenty of company, especially after tweeting/exposing his creepy trouser snake multiple times.
Poor Rih, she's really got a taste for Hollywood's A-List d-bags. Find a real man, girl!
Aaaah the wonderful world of dating and being single. It seems no matter what part of the country (or world) men are from, they tend to make the same mistakes when it comes to dating. Now is not the time to get offended or defensive, now is the time to listen. I know that may be difficult, but sometimes it's wise to just shut up and take some sound advice. Trust me, it's for your own good. So here are 11 reasons why you never made it to date number two or second base:

You stroll past the small-town main strip behind Allendale’s restaurants and shops. You approach the entrance way of Flirt Sushi, expecting to find a standard and customary sushi house at first glance.
From the outside, you do. However, step inside and take one look at the menu's Mi-So Horny Soup offering, and you quickly realize: this is not your average sushi spot.
While Flirt Sushi certainly has all you need for a sushi dinner out, owner and creator Marko Radisic has, well, sexed it up a bit.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Cameron Diaz was asked how she keeps her body in shape. Her response? “I guess it’s just exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex – yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy it’s natural, it’s what we are here to do!” Don’t you just love when celebrities are brutally honest?
Man Knows Best
This is a little point I’ve been making in conversation over the years. It pops up every now and again, and today was just such a day. While doing research for my article on cougars, I came across repeated references to a book known simply as ‘Rules’. Upon further inspection, I discovered that Rules is a book for women, by women, on life, love and dating – basically, how to nab, seduce, and keep a man. It was at this juncture that I remembered being at a party (please don’t judge me for this) where a girl would occasionally, but consistently, read out a section from this very book, sometimes with incredulity, sometimes with murmured tones of agreement. I remember listening occasionally to these thrown-out comments, and disagreeing with most of them. I like to think that growing up surrounded by four women (three sisters and a Mother) has given me an invaluable – and terrifying – insight into the mentality of women. I am by no means professing to understand women, but I will perhaps arrogantly claim to be a more ‘in-touch’ man than some.
I am fortunate to have a very close friend who has been prominent in the night club scene in London for many years now. Through him, as we grew up together, I got to discover a world that not many people get to see. I saw how the nightclubs ran, what it took to make them successful, I saw the glamour, and the grime behind them. I met some very odd, very scary, and very successful people. While we may all think we could run a successful night spot, there’s a reason why so few last, and even fewer are worth mentioning.
This past week, in conjunction with Mirrorball and Perrier, plans have been put into motion to create an online Nightlife Hall of Fame. The committee that has been assembled to choose the nominees for the first round of entrants is as impressive a repertoire of talents as any possible nominations. Sadly, there names will mean nothing to any but a select few people. Carmen d’Alessio, possibly the most successful party thrower and party goer of her generation is on the committee, along with Steve Lewis (manager of the Limelight in its hey-day and today's final world on all things nightlife), Nikki Camp, and a handful of other names that you won’t remember.
