Celebrities aren't messing around - from the east coast to the west coast, our favorite stars know how to party. Here's what happened this past weekend:
Saturday night, our fave athlete-turned-actor, Shaquille O'Neal, attended the All Star Comedy Jam Holiday Celebration presented by C by Courvoisier. The celebration, which was held at the Club Arkadia at the Fountainebleau in Miami, marked the culmination of 2012's All Star Comedy Jam nationwide tour. Other celebs in attendence included comedians Finesse Mitchell, and Capone and Lavar Walker. Guests were treated to specialty C by Courvoisier cocktails.
Today, October 19th, wear and promote purple as much as possible. Join millions of people who will be donning purple for Spirit Day promoting the ban of bullying. Post photos of you and your friends wearing purple to Twitter and Instagram with hashtag #SpiritDay. And, see which celebrities and public figures are going purple at http://glaad.org/spiritday.
Millions wear purple on Spirit Day as a sign of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth and to speak out against bullying. Spirit Day started in 2010 as a response to the young people who had taken their own lives. Every year schools, sports leagues, organizations, churches, companies and stars stand up to bullying and "go purple."
The summer blockbuster season is officially kicking off this year with Iron Man 2. There are even predictions that it could break The Dark Knight's opening-weekend record of $158.4 million. Though, I think the Iron Man-folks would rather just stop being compared to that film, seeing as the massive success of the Christian Bale flick definitely put a damper on the almost-as-massive success of the first Iron Man.
