Noah Tepperberg can be described as no less than a nightlife mogul. He and The Strategic Group are responsible for opening some of the hottest spots ever; including Avenue, Marquee and Artichoke Pizza in NYC and TAO and LAVO in Las Vegas.
Their latest project, Dream Downtown had a launch party on June 15th, which was described as simply, "Epic." Quite a crowd came out to celebrate the much anticipated opening, including singer Eve, Solange Knowles, Tyson Beckford, Shenae Grimes, Kellan Lutz, and Kara Dioguardi, just to name a few. The new spot hasn't officially opened its doors to the public, but it's already being touted as the "next big thing." We got a chance to chat with Noah about Dream and what's to come for the new lavish hot spot.
Aaron Spelling will have to turn back over in his grave. The CW plans to resurrect Spelling sudser Melrose Place for the fall 2009 season. One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwann has been tapped to pen the script for the revamped series.
Earlier this year, the CW brought Beverly Hills, 90210 back to life with moderate success. Tabloid darlings Shenae Grimes, 19 and Annalyn McCord, 21 helped draw attention to the show with their waning appetites and figures. Who do you think should return to reprise their roles on the small screen? Former star Grant Show, aka Jake Hanson, already turned down a CW exec when he found out he wouldn’t get $150,000 an episode. We hear Heather Locklear might be up for a reoccurring spot on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters; but surely Melrose can’t exist without maven Amanda Woodward.
